WOYWW

Well, after another week of cough and head cold, I finally feel as if I'm on the mend.

It's been a quiet, at home, keep cosy and potter sort of week. My knitting has meant that time wasn't wasted. I now have given a total of 50 little egg covers to Annie to pass onto the HJ charity.

These are the latest.  .

And here is the second basket full...

My haberdashery stash is like the magic cooking pot. I needed about 2 metres of bias binding to edge the basket liner so that I could thread elastic through it. There it was, just waiting for me in a drawer. A 3m metre length of bright yellow bias binding that has probably been there at least ten years! Good job I hate to throw anything away.😀

So that's me for this week.

Have a good week all

x x Jo

I thought you’d nailed it with Peter Rabbit but those sheep are fantastic!! I absolutely love them - bet you made up your won pattern too, you clever thing! Hooray for finding old stash that’s perfect for the job in hand, so satisfying. I’m really glad that you’re finally getting over the lurgy too, you’ve had a proper dose. Hopefully Spring is on its way and you can get out and about xx
Thanks for your kind words this morning,

My son and dil laugh at me for saving things like your bias binding. They once bought me a book called "Make Do and Mend". Young folks these days! He wasn't brought up like that, I blame her. (LOL)
Love those little sheep, with the black faces. Where do you find all these patterns? You make the cutest makes with your knitting. What a delight those baskets of yours are. So generous a person in every way.
Glad you are feeling much better but it wasn't fair that you suffered again with a covid type illness. Just glad it wasn't it again.
Hugs, Neet 3 xx

Oh those chickens are adorable! Finding that bias binding is a double winner because, one - you've found exactly the right thing that you needed, and two - you've gained justification for keeping absolutely everything for ever & ever! Have a great week. Lisa-Jane #13 www.prettymypage.co.uk

Hello Jo. I hope your nasty cold is finally on the way out and that you can look forward to Spring now. Those little woolly lamb egg cosies are beautiful and I know they will be very popular. Have a great weekend x
