WOYWW - lots to snoop!

Good morning all.
I snapped my table laden with goodies yesterday when the sunshine was beaming through my window. It was a very frosty foggy morning but the afternoon was just the most perfect day.
Lots for all my WOYWW friends and others to snoop today....

My latest LillyBo Quilt is finished and so is the little tote bag for it to go in.
One of Annie's kind customers saw what we were doing and gave us this gorgeous little beanie kitten to pop in the pocket. There are some lovely folk about aren't there.

In the centre you can see the latest little knitted hoodie that I have just finished for my neighbour's new grandson. I bought a snazzy pair of jeans to go with it for him. Babies don't seem to wear pastels much these days do they?

In the front of the picture is the satin wedding horseshoe made for one of our blog buddies.

So, as you see, I have had a busy week. Thank goodness that cold has gone and I have bounced back to full strength!!!
I hope you are all well and enjoying life.
I am determined to get around a few more WOYWW desks today so I am nipping over nice and early to Julia's Stamping Ground to see what she is up to first.
have a good week.
x Jo

PS
This was my view one misty moisty morning this week.....

WOYWW

Happy Wednesday - to all our What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday friends - and anyone else who pops in to see what I am up to!!

This week I have been busy sewing & knitting and even helping childmind those gorgeous little twins. They are such little poppets.
Their mum asked if I could manage to make a couple more little cover ups for them this week. Well of course I can!! I found this cute spotty fabric in Watson & Thornton's in Shrewsbury. Perfect for the job.

My other little task was to make this pretty ivory satin horseshoe.
We have lots over in our blog shop - SistersCraftyCreations.
I made this one as a special request and added silk & satin flowers and tiny silvery beads.
I think it will make a nice keepsake don't you?

Lastly, in case you missed my last week's update on my little jumpers  -

All this lovely wool came from Linda and Lyn of KEMPS WOOLS who went home and found me a carrier bagful of odds and ends from their own supplies when they knew what I was doing for the "Fish and Chip" babies. Crafters are such a generous bunch aren't they. Thanks girls.

And here is what I have managed this week......

Annie now tells me that she has probably got another bag of wool coming from her craft suppliers. I think we shall be busy for months!! I am happy to knit in the evening - when my busy social life allows me (lol).

OK folks - join in the happy blog hop by following the link to Julia's Stamping Ground. All sorts of crafty folk meet up there on a Wednesday so pop over and see what they are up to this week.

Thanks to all my visitors last week - I love to read your comments and see what you have been busy with too.
Have a great week.

A mixed bag!

Well, four drawers are tidied now after yesterday's purge!

These are the ribbons all set to go back in the drawer, now that they are colour sorted into their chopped-off sweetie jars.

The lilac/white wedding horseshoe, in yesterday's pic, is now finished and ready to go in the blog shop later. It sort of created itself really. I dumfed yarns on felt. Then I added a hand embroidered motif from my up-cycled tablecloth and some more hand stitching and beads. I think the end result is certainly different!

I popped to see Wipso and trim yet another pair of curtains ready for her to finish. She loved the horseshoe and also the gorgeous yarns that I took to share with her.

One yarn in particular caught her eye - a lovely, raggy, bright pink one. She had a go at dumfing it and it looked good, so I guess you will see it on one of her fab dumfy pics sooner or later.

I picked up a really fluffy wool called Patons Softy, in creamy browns.
It just said " a certain bird" to me so I dumfed a bit onto a tiny scrap of black felt.

Here it is.....

Well, I am sure it will become a little card or picture and maybe I will make a bigger one.
Its funny, I never knew I could do any of this. Doesn't it make you wonder -just what is in this little old brain of mine?

Thanks for all your lovely comments. Its good to be surrounded by folk whose cup is always half full. Have a great Bank Holiday weekend!
