Good morning all. Happy What's On Your Work desk Wednesday!
I hope the weather hasn't been too cold and snowy for you. I have hibernated for the last few days but did manage to de ice my car and get out for some shopping yesterday.
Whilst hibernating, I managed to knit a chunky cardi for my friend's granddaughter....
As usual, the amount of yarn recommended for an age 2 to 3 was just not quite enough so I teamed it with some toning yarn for the neckband etc. It's certainly a cosy little item
It has been a bit of a struggle with this nasty little cooker burn on my right hand. It's healing well but catches on everything now
My other post Christmas activity was this fab jig saw Max passed on to us. The plain colours were a headache but we both enjoyed doing it. Isn't it beautiful. It reminded me of our summer time trip to York where we saw the Van Gogh event in St Mary's Church
So that's it for this week.
Sending our good wishes and. WOYWW virtual hug to Neet.

That cardi really is so much more than the sum of its parts eh? It’s only garter stitch in chunky but it’s such a cheerful happy garment, I love it. Plus I think the toning neckband etc is a design statement *grin*. Hope your finger heals really quickly, if only that future knitting isn’t so irksome!

Good morning Jo and happy new year. It’s good to be back with you all and to see what’s happening on WOYWW. Take care in this bad weather won’t you, it’s not much better up here in Rossendale

Your comment about the snow made me smile as we certainly have lots of it where we are thank goodness! I absolutely want a cardi like that, it's gorgeous. Hope your finger is better soon. looks painful. Stay warm and happy woyww with hugs Angela x7x
What a great cardi . Glad you managed to find something to finish it . Well done on the jigsaw . Happy woyww Helen #3
Ouch-that burn looks nasty. The little cardigan is beautiful and I think the self coloured neckband sets it off perfectly. No snow here but very frosty and slippy. Happy crafting. Catriona
Oh dear that burn looks sore. It must have hurt very much when you first did it. Love the little cardigan. Happy New Year Angela #13
That cardi is gorgeous and the colour of the neckband etc looks a deliberate part of the design. Sorry to see your burned finger, I keep oil of lavender to hand, it’s brilliant on burns. I hope it heals soon.
Happy new year and WOYWW

Ouch- what a tricky place to get a burn- hope it heals quickly. LOVE that cardi- now that I have conquered the sewing monster, maybe I need to get out the needles! Happy new Year! Robyn 4
