WOYWW

 Welcome to my WOYWW desk.

The clocks went back at the weekend so we have cosy evenings that begin an hour earlier (I like to be positive about the move towards winter!)

I know Ben doesn't look at my blog so I can share this with you. He made a beautiful oil pastel owl picture for my birthday card and I thought I would treat him to something to keep as a reminder of his arty talent.

I think he will love to find this in his Christmas
stocking.
I also ordered 20 cards printed from his design. I'm guessing he will use them for thank you cards but may also see it as a money maker and sell a few back to me!!

My crafty activity included a day spent making little inspiration packs for Tilly.
Firstly I put small amounts of toning colours onto a tiny square of pre felt.
Then I add a twist of toning textured yarns and threads.
Lastly, I pack them in tiny cellophane bags with a Tilly Tea Dance label.

I made 38 altogether, so that should keep her stock going for a while.

I have a few new twiddlers to show you next week when I have finished them .
So, that's me for this week.
Sending love and hugs to Neet, hoping she is making good progress.
x x Jo 🌈

Wow, Ben's owl is beautiful and how lovely you've turned it into a mug and cards for him. It's interesting to see the make up of the kits for Tilly. Have a good week. Helen #2 Happy WOYWW

What a great way to use Ben’s fab illustration, he’ll be chuffed you did that for him! It works really well on the mug and the cards. Those little bundles of fluff are pure colour joy aren’t they? You are a good soul doing them all, it must be fun though!!

I think Ben will be mightily chuffed, what a great idea Jo, and haven't they come out well. What a great way to celebrate his work. I'm loving the little inspiration bags...because you've done the hard work of choosing and toning, it's the part of any project that slows me down, so they really appeal to me. It must be lovely to share your talents like you and Max do.

I think Ben will love his mug, such a clever idea. My husband has had lovely mugs over the years with pictures of the grandchildren, he will insist on putting them in the dishwasher thought, and the pictures are long gone. Happy WOYWW. Angela #10

What a super surprise from the Owl picture, it's rather lovely isn't it. One of the bags of fibres you sent me was just the ticket for my poppy stems on my latest Zen piece. Not feeling great I have only managed one piece a day so far and not feeling much like doing anymore really. do so love seeing all the bags you make up. Hugs BJ#1
