Good morning all.
I was absent last week as we had a few days in Yorkshire. We met up with old friends and then went over to Skipton.
The weather was a bit damp but we enjoyed a few trips out.
I thought I'd share a few of the things that amused/interested me whilst we were out and about.
Settle had a flower pot festival - who knew! 😃
Some of the shops had a window display. I loved this one....
The museum in "The Folly" in Settle was free to visit and I thought it was excellent. I loved all the "Mouse man" oak furniture.....
And how about this...
Can you work out what it is. ..
Annie read the label so of course she quickly sussed it.
Lastly, this photo was on a display of early photography which was fascinating
Don't you just love all their proud little faces.
This week I will be mounting and framing pictures for Maxine's exhibition in the Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre. So, my room will be full and I will be busy. All good fun!
Have a good week everyone.
x x Jo 🌈

Glad you enjoyed your week in Yorkshire despite the rain! You did find some amusing things! I read the label too but couldn't enlarge it enough to do so properly!! Mind I don't have my glasses on! Happy WOYWW Helen #2
Ooh, the Yorkshire Dales. I just love exploring around there and Skipton is a beautiful place to visit. Did you make it on a big market day? Think it is a Friday.
How lovely to see the Mouseman furniture and what a delight it is when you spot a mouse. Not furry of course.
Well, have heard of some things but never a flower pot festival!

ps not a clue what the thingamyjig is x
How lovely was the window for the flowerpot festival! Great idea and so sweet as well. The wool yarn exhibit was very interesting, I’d not a clue until I zoomed in to read the label and found that fascinating, what a quick way to check for an important safety feature! I so love a bit of simple tech. I’m glad you had a good week despite the weather, it wasn’t much better here either (apart from yesterday which was lovely). Hope the framing etc etc goes well!
Hugs LLJ 3 xx
Looks like you had a fun time despite the weather Jo. I had to read the sign to work out what the exhibit was too. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah
I’m glad you had a fun time in Yorkshire, the window displays and mousy furniture were great. Is your mystery item a chair?
I can’t read the label.
Happy WOYWW

Looks like you had a good time but who wouldn't in beautiful Yorkshire. The Vision testing is interesting, never seen that done before but makes sense. I love the old photo too, they are so sweet. Wishing you a very happy woyww. Hugs Angela x8x
Happy WOYWW Jo, you did have fun at Yorkshire dales my grandmother came from there. The WOYWW test sign was illegible as on a mobile, either do on mobile or i won't get around to it. Loved the various other photos including early photos.
Have a grand day doing the framing, Shaz in Oz.x 🙏🏻 🤗
So glad you enjoyed Yorkshire despite the rain. xx
