Good morning all
So we are back to chilly days again. What a shame. We all enjoyed that couple of weeks of sunshine.
We have seen a couple of swallows so, hopefully the sun will be back soon.
I have had a busy week with all sorts of activity.
My craft table has been covered in fluff once or twice
I cut up toning strips of fabric which I laid onto a plain fabric and trapped under some fine net..
I used my machine to work patterned stitches to hold down the pieces.
The first card was a Golden Wedding cardThe next was a birthday card for Tilly. . She won't see it here so I can share it with you
I have made another but I will share it next week.
I've also had a day with Ben which left me exhausted. I'm not sure if it was the penalty shot footie or the tennis on our lawn that wore me out. It was good fun at the time!
I hope you all have a happy Easter time. The year is flying by.
See you next week
x x Jo 🌈

the cards you made are fabulous and I am sure the recipients will love both of them! Love how you make up the packs for Tilly. It is a shame that the weather has deteriorated for Easter (and I have some time off) but twas ever thus! Happy WOYWW Helen #3
Oh lots of fluffy goodness going on there, love the yarn strands you add to the packets. Love the use of fine net on the fabric strip piece, what super cards too. And breathe.... Hugs Bj#6
Oooooh, a fabric masterboard, how clever you are, it makes for a perfect background for the cards. Love Tilly’s daffodils so much, you’ve got them spot on, I think they’re a hard flower to get right! The piles of fluff are very pretty as well, love the range of colours. That sounded like an energetic day with Ben, lol, hope you won the penalty shoot out!!
Hugs LLJ 5 xx
Fab cards Jo....I'm sorry you didn't get one for your Wedding Anniversary [life just got in the way here sadly]. I hope you had a lovely day. I can just imagine you in your footy kit taking the penalties :-)
Hugs,

Ben certainly keeps you on your toes Jo. I bet you sleep well after a day in his company. Loving those fabric cards. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah
Love your strip cards, did you tack them all down first? I made a snippet roll in a similar way using lace. What sort of net was it? Happy WOYWW . Angela #11
Fabric fun! I am so in love with that and great cards too. Looks like you've been busy but happy business I think. Sending woyww hugs Angela x10x
I love your cards and your process for making them.
Ben certainly keeps you on your toes!

Isn't it funny how we enjoy time with the little ones but feel worn out afterwards. At least we have the wonderful memories. I have no grandees so i am referring to time spent with my friends little one - she's 16 now so no running around the lawn for me these days.
Loe the cards you made, Maxine will be thrilled with hers when she sees it.
hugs, Neet xx
Happy WOYWW! The cards are lovely. Hopely we are having an Easter get together over the week end, haven't seen the grandkiddies for ages! Since hubby passed our weekend get togethers have stopped, whhich is sad...never mind, I'm busy house and dog sitting and lovely this sunny weather, hope it lasts a bit longer! Have a great weekend! Happy late WOYWW!? ((Lyn)) #13
Lovely cards! I made something similar many years ago with the netting over top. It's a great look! Have a lovely Easter🐰🐣❤️Lindart #15
Your cards are beautiful and so unique.
Glad you had a fun time with Ben even if you felt exhausted later. You are creating lots of precious memories together.
Have a lovely rest of the week.
