WOYWW

 Good morning all

This lovely sunny weather gave me the incentive to do a bit of Spring cleaning. I washed my curtains and then had to let them down and re hem as they had shrunk! They are all done and nice and fresh.

Then, I decided to re- cover the seats on my sewing room chairs. They are 1970s teak and go with the dining room table that I use as a sewing table. I really should paint the frames too but I ran out of steam. So, here are my finished chairs. There are 3 of them in my room so it was quite a challenge and lots of stapling.

My friend asked me to make an outfit for her granddaughter who is in a concert as a mill worker. I am waiting for measurements for the top and skirt but I made a start with this little shawl made from a scarf.

So that's me for this week. I have another set of bookmarks to do today so I will be busy!
Have a good week all

That sounds a very busy week, curtains and re-upholstering! It has been gorgeous weather though, shame it is coming to an end for a while. Happy WOYWW and good luck with the bookmarks! Helen #1

The shawl is perfect already, clever gal! Well done on a fab job with those chairs, I like the fabric and they look so neat. I’d have sworn mightily if curtains had shrunk with me, they might have been put back up with a gap, lol. I detest doing anything with curtains, you may have worked that out!! *grin*

Love the shawl but the reupholstered chairs and the curtains (how I hate it when they shrink) are fabulous transformations .Fortunately the only ones I have up are to be dry cleaned.

I love the fabric on the newly covered chairs and the little shawl is fab [I have something here for you when you're out and about...but don't get too excited].

Another busy week, hope you managed to get all those new bears finished too. The shawl is perfect and your chairs look good too. I think it's always risky washing curtains and I vacuum mine until out of desperation I have them dry cleaned but we have big windows so it's almost impossible to wash them at home. Wishing you a happy woyww. Hugs Angela x10x

Sorry Jo I thought I was at Annie's, I know you don't make bears so please forgive me. Angela x10x

Well done on redoing your chairs. Shame about the shrinkage of the curtains, but at least there was extra material to let them down. I am in agreement with Linda, I prefer the wood, but they are your chairs 🤣🤣. Love the shawl! Happy WOYWW. Angela #11
