Happy Christmas to everyone who has the time to pop in here today! I hope you all have a peaceful few days and enjoy yourselves whatever you are up to.
We are blessed to be able to share our festive season with close family and friends but, should you happen to be alone this Christmas, we will be thinking of you and sending you a big WOYWW hug.
I thought I'd share this weird little happening with you....
From my kitchen window, across the roof tops, I noticed this on a spindly old fir tree .
It made me chuckle - a rather weird fairy to put on the top of the tree!!
It is, of course, a heron on the look out for a meal or maybe resting on the way to the pond. It was there for ages. I love to see the birds in my gardenπ€£π€£

The Herons are looking for food at the moment and the higher they get the more they are able to see who has a garden pond. We had a frantic message from a friend down the road this week that there was one looking our way but than goodness our bird scary got rid of it. Brat shot of the Heron, they are so cocksure aren't they, don't need to hide in a really leafy tree! Amazing that he didn't make that spindly looking tree sway!
