WOYWW

We are back into the swing of things at last!

I have been helping Tilly Tea Dance with a few admin chores. We dismantled her exhibition at Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre yesterday. She did really well there and they have asked her back for 6 weeks in the late summer.

My crafty activities have been limited to knitting my little twiddle mitts for the dementia team at the hospital.

I finished my rainbow one....

Then I have tackled another seaside one

Here it is in the nude...

I will share the finished one with you next week.

I spotted this winter flowering clematis in my garden today. We have had it for about 4 years and this year it has decided to flower..

Its a sort of pale peachy colour and is really very pretty.

So that's me for this week.

I hope you are keeping cosy in this chilly weather.

x x Jo

Love the clematis-our summer flowering ones have lots of growth despite cutting them back twice. I’m waiting on some new yarn coming and I’m going to knit a sleeveless slipover. Good news about Tilly Tea Dance’s exhibition. Catriona

I’ve never heard of a winter flowering clematis, it’s really pretty and doing well despite the freezy temps! Great news re Tilly as well, glad her art has been appreciated. Your art is just as good, those twiddlers are fab - love the bright colours of the rainbow and does the other beach (nude) means there’s going to be people of a certain age with not much on appearing on it. I can think of one twiddler that might be fun……. ;-)

I’ve not heard of winter flowering clematis either. We could use some winter colour in the garden.
Glad the Tilly tea dance fair went well.
Your rainbow twiddler is looking pretty and I laughed at the idea of your ‘nude’ twiddler!
Take care and happy WOYWW

My winter flowering clematis belongs to the man next door, he cut it down but it had already come through to my side . . . he cuts it down, I get the greenery and flowers . . win win situation lol
Saw a lady in hospital with a twiddle mitt and thought of you . .
Have a good week

Beautiful colors in your knitting projects. So pretty. And a Climatis blooming in the cool weather...mine did not do much this year. Must need better soil or in too hot of an area. Enjoy a great week Happy WOYWW

Great twiddlers. I do like Clematis, we had a beautiful one in one house we lived in. I bought one for here, but it didn’t take very well. Which might have something to do with being mixed up bindweed one year, a real nuisance in my garden. Happy WOYWW. Angela #12

Gosh that's a pretty Clematis and is a great pointer for things to come, I hope she doesn't mind this Uber cold! Gear twiddlers as always, the rainbow just made me smile. Max is doing so well, it's so lovely that you're able to bed such a constant support.

The clematis looks fantastic, a real treat for the January garden. So pleased that Max did so well at the Shropshire Hills centre and that they have asked her back.
