WOYWW

I am hoping I have time to post a little something for WOYWW.
Today I am at the hospital for a check up on my face.
The scar is fading and looks Ok so I hope the consultant will sign me off - I think I have made about eight journeys over to Birmingham in the last twelve months!

My workdesk is a fun place to be (if only I had time) - as I bought a new sewing machine last week. Annie and I had a play with it on Saturday, while the men were at footie, and we both agreed it is just the job! I just need a few hours to master all the new bits and bobs.

Here is a quick snap of it....

So, it's short and sweet for this week.

I hope you enjoyed the last few days of sunshine. I loved it - except for the nasty minibeast that bit me four times on my shoulder and is a nasty itchy mess at the moment.

Have a great week.

WOYWW

This was my little job for the day - sorting through a big bag of workshop leftovers for Tilly Tea Dance.
Workshop link  https://www.tillyteadance.co.uk/felting-art-workshops-shropshire

At the end of her workshops, they just get popped in a bag and I decided it was all useful stuff.
So, I sorted it into colours and re-bagged it. Now she will be able to re-use it for more workshops or taster sessions. Doesn't it look pretty and wouldn't you just love to dabble with all those little bits and bobs?

Below is just a sneaky peek at some of my ATCs. I have made 20 so, if anyone wants to swap just leave me a comment. Annie and I will do our usual trick of sending them out together. If you want to swap with us both you can pop yours into one envelope and send them to me or Annie and we will share them out! We both love our annual WOYWW birthday celebration so feel free to join in with our fun.
I apologise for not visiting many desks last week. Time just flew by.
I promise I will try harder this week.

Have a great week.

WOYWW

Good morning to all the WOYWW friends around the globe.

Just my knitting activity on show today.

A little pink hoodie for my God daughter.
The latest collection of giggling, cartwheeling dollies for Uganda.

I have Ben here for a few days so my time has been taken keeping him busy.
He is a happy little soul and we have lots of fun.
At the moment his sentences usually start with...
Do you know what nanny...
or
Imagine if we.....

Of course that is followed by all sorts of his own ideas and suggestions for our play time - many of which involve Nanny being a story character and acting out his favourite stories.
I am making the most of every minute and know I am very lucky to have him.

Now, where did that lovely summer weather go?
It is cold, wet and windy here today - probably 15 degrees cooler than last week!
That's British weather for you.

So, I must get on with the chores.
Have a great week.
See you next week.

WOYWW

Another week - another WOYWW!

Just a quick post as I am nipping out to the shops before I have my super arty crafter and her wonderful boy here for the day!
My desk today.....

Loaded with lovely artwork that I framed for Tilly Tea Dance yesterday.

And - in the centre- two little rainbow dolls that I am knitting for you Margaret! (glitterandglue). They will go to the project she supports in Uganda.

I thought I would use up my last wool scraps on these little dolls.
Ha ha - of course I was wrong!
A good friend was clearing out her cupboards and sent a bag of wool for me - yes that wool bag of mine is just like the magic porridge pot isn't it.

So, I have plenty to keep me going for the next few months.

That's it for today.

Have fun snooping round my desk.

WOYWW

Good morning all.
Time flies these days and I know it's 2 weeks since I blogged so, I am writing this in a quiet moment over Easter!

I have nothing on my WOYWW today but at least I can show you this lot.....

I have had enough of twiddle mitts for the time being so, I will be dropping this lovely lot off at the hospital this week.

I have almost got to the bottom of my wool bag - I am saying that quietly as it seems to keep refilling itself - strange isn't it!!!

Have a great week.
