WOYWW

 Good morning all

The weeks are whizzing by and Christmas will soon be here. I am pretty laid back about it really. We like to have quiet family time so my preparations are low key. I like to make a few gifts for friends and family, make my own cards and enjoy a few meals with the family.

I made most of my cards a few weeks ago using my fabric collage backgrounds and building poinsettia and holly on top. I will share those on here at Christmas .

But, I needed a few more to go with Christmas money gifts so I copied Maxine's design from last year.

I dusted off my needle felting machine and used a strip of green felt which I embellished with yarns and threads.
Then I chopped it up into tree shaped triangles which I trimmed with beads and embroidery.
I think they look pretty and didn't take too long.

So that's me for this week.

I hope you are enjoying your build up to Christmas and that no one was too badly affected by the gales.

Have a good week.

x x Jo 🌈

those trees make great little money bags! Iam not sure what I am doing for Christmas yet, but may be at my brother's again. Mainly looking forward to a break from work! Happy WOYWW Helen ##2

Love those little Christmas trees Jo, so much beauty from humble beginnings! I loved my little fabric package, the colours are just gorgeous, exactly what I’d have picked myself xx. Both boys are at home for Christmas with us and we have a great time but don’t go over the top, a few drinks and card/board games are our bag!

Absolutely love your Christmas trees, what a great idea. Do you have to have a needle felting machine to make them? I would love to have a go and have been mentally reviewing my supplies! Happy WOYWW. Angela #12

Those Christmas trees are adorable and in such an array of colours you can match them with everyone who is going to receive one. Mind you I loved my Christmas card with the poinsettia, thank you so much, love poinsettias.
We will have. quiet Christmas like you, which is just how we like it.
Hugs, Neet 1 xx

How perfect! I love how the trees turned out. Those are the little details that make a gift special. I remember one year my mother in law gifted me a professional carpet cleaning service (not something she could physically wrap haha) but she made the cutest homemade card with little sparkly snowflakes on it. It made it so fun! Thanks for sharing yours!
