WOYWW

Good morning to all my WOYWW friends across the globe.
I hope you are all well and enjoying the lovely Spring weather we had over the last few days.

My desk is looking rather tidy.

You can see my bargain bias binding maker and my buttons to cover beside some buttonhole elastic.
I guess I might be letting out some trousers soon.

Yes! I did it again - spent Monday with Annie and crafted there - leaving all my threads and scrappy bits at hers!
This is what I made....

It's a little card for Annie's son and fiancee who get married soon. I wanted something nice to pop their wedding gift in.

My other crafty activity this week involved using up the last half metre of fabric left over from the dress I made for Maxine. I just hope we have a nice warm Summer so that she can wear it. It was quick to make so I might look for a bit more jersey fabric for another one.

That's it for this week folks.
I hope you enjoyed checking me out - I will be over to look at what you are up to soon.

x Jo

Well Jo, just have to say it was good to see you over on your sister's blog.
Nice dress you made, let's hope yesterdays weather repeats itself and we get lots of sunshine over the coming months. Not looking good today as yet!
I love the card you made, very appropriate to go with the gift.
Now what is buttonhole elastic please?

Jo, that "card" is a gift in itself. It is incredible, and I believe frameable after the gift has been opened.

Saw you at Annie's. That is a great two photos of you. Happy WOYWW from # 2.

Hi Jo, my crafting day is with Maria Simms at St Peter's Church hall, Monkmoor road, Shrewsbury. I am really looking forward to it, a whole day just to play and a great tutor as well. She is there every month. It looks as though you have a lovely collection of sewing goodies to play with, and such a pretty card for the newly weds to be. Thank you for your visit and have a good week. xx Maggie #61

I have one of those bias binding makers too. Haven't used it for ages but it is so useful when you need matching binding.
If you would like to swap ATCs, my email address is rosk8anneatyahoodotcomdotau.
Hope to hear from you.
