WOYWW

Better late than never in joining my WOYWW friends around the globe.

My weeks seem to get ever more hectic but I am not complaining - it's fun and I enjoy every minute.
This week has been taken up with more picture and pendant mounting for Tilly Tea Dance.
My table has a beautiful little wet felted piece sitting patiently on my machine waiting for Tilly to work on it with free machining to create a background piece for her pictures.

She has also rounded up some of her pendants ready for a quick sale on Etsy.
If you want to see more of her work click here..  Tilly Tea Dance on Etsy

My day has been spent having fun with Ben - his latest phrase is .. "First things first, nanny!"
He is like blotting paper and soaks up everything that is said to him, so I guess, when he has wanted to do something, I have said just that to him!
Here he is debating potato planting with Grandad...

Well that's it for this week.
Thanks to all who visited and left lovely comments last week - I am sorry if I didn't manage to get to see your desk. I will try harder this week.

Have a great week.

WOYWW

This week I have been mostly painting little frames with chalk paint for Tilly Tea Dance, mounting little sheepy pics for same clever artist or looking after Ben - for same clever artist!!
AND in my spare time I have relaxed by knitting a few more twiddle mitts and a little pair of pink ballet leg warmers,  going to a charity concert at Theatre Severn (lots of brilliant local dancers and singers) and dining out for a Sunday lunch.

So really the only thing to share with my WOYWW friends  is the knitty lovliness in my half finished twiddle mitts.

OR alternatively you can peruse all the crafty stuff filling my table and waiting to be organised and put away in cupboards - enjoy!!

I don't know where the weeks go - I missed last weeks WOYWW completely.
Have a great week.

WOYWW

Just a quickie for all those WOYWW crafters who love a bit of textile work!

I managed to create a lovely little duvet cover using the patchwork pieces and some of the bedroom curtain fabric. I am not really a quilter and do find difficulty in keeping my seams straight and matched up.
I think it looks OK and I am sure its recipient will love it, which is all that matters.

It's another busy week for me so I am dashing to supermarket shop and then get down to cleaning my kitchen floor - I opened a wine box last night and the spout squirted red wine all over the place!! Yuk! Luckily it hasn't stained but it is still a bit sticky so I need to get the mop and bucket out!

Have a great week.
Thanks for calling by.

WOYWW

Tilly Tea Dance stole my table for last week's WOYWW so this week I am determined to get in early...

My photos were taken last night while I listened to the radio as Shrewsbury town won their footie match.
(Hubby and BIL went out in the cold to watch it.)

So here we are...

These are the little patchwork hearts that will be the centre piece to the baby quilt that I am making.
I hope the finished item works - It's all a bit of guesswork - using up fabric from my stash and some of the curtain fabric to match the nursery.

Then...
This is what I have been knitting this week - a little ballet cardi for my friend's grand daughter. It's in 4 ply so it took ages to knit but I think it looks OK.

That's it for this week.
I hope it's not too cold where you are. There is snow on the Shropshire hills but luckily I am in town now and we haven't had any.

Have a great week and lots of fun (Especially the WOYWWers who are getting together in South Wales this week! You know who you are!!)
