Friday smile - house viewing!

We were eating our tea over the weekend when we found that we had an unexpected house viewing!
This handsome young man was peering into my dining room.
He was there for ages and had a really good look.
(We decided he could probably see his reflection in the glass and thought it was competition)

Have a great weekend!

WOYWW

This week I have been busy with a few crafty activities before I get bogged down in sorting my house move.
Maxine wanted a little Easter bunny hoodie for Ben so I chopped up one of his grandad's t shirts - here we are....

I made a little pair of bunny boots and added a bobble of fluff for a tail on his hoodie.
Now he will be all set for his Easter get together with his little buddies.

My table is quite tidy really - just a few teddy bear outfits.
Orangutan had been modelling my knitwear!

This is my latest knitted cardi. I manage to stay awake until I put my knitting down although I almost think I could knit these patterns in my sleep now!

Join in our mad Wednesday blog hop over at Julia's Stamping Ground.
Have a great week.

Friday smile - solar eclipse activity!

I hope you all enjoyed the solar eclipse today.
I just thought you might like to see how I celebrated!
Yes, I bet this totally eclipses your activity this morning.

I am calling it "Beside the Mitchell's Fold standing stone"
It was a bit chilly once the sun was behind the moon!

Have a smiley weekend.

WOYWW

Another crafty week in the Twiglet household!
My table is just piled high with the remanants of my crafty activities - it's a mess and you don't want to look at it!
So here are the results - much more interesting. . . .

Here is my first attempt at a quiet cube.
It's just a little soft fabric cube with a few add ons that Ben might like to investigate (and chew on).

Then there is the play mat all ready for him when he comes to play at my house....

AND lastly the little knittie that I was making last week.

So, a busy week considering that I have had a nasty head cold. All better now.
We just need a bit of Spring sunshine and a good walk in the fresh air!

Hope you are all well.
Thanks for visiting - and also to those who popped over to visit Tilly Tea Dance. She had a tummy bug this week so maybe didn't get back to you all with a comment.
Enjoy your crafty WOYWW blog hop!

Have a good week.

Friday smile

This handsome young man made me smile this week as he strutted round my garden looking for scraps that the other birds had left behind. We always have pheasants in the field but just now and again they venture into my garden.

BUT
This is the handsome boy that loves his dinosaur fleecy poncho!

If you want to enjoy a few more smiles on a Friday follow this link to Annie's A stitch in time blog.
Have a great weekend.

WOYWW

Well that's another week that has just flown by.
My WOYWW table has a few projects on the go this week. I am knitting a little cap sleeve cardi with some pretty peachy wool that I discovered as I was clearing cupboards. Knitting is the best way of stopping me falling asleep in front of the TV these days!
In front of that you can see the fabrics that I chose to make Ben a playmat for my new house. He will be just about 5 minutes away by car so I am sure he will want to come and play at Nanny's now and again.
In the bottom corner is the pretty patchwork covered  address book that Annie made for me - again ready for my new house. She is a treasure isn't she.

This little picture is the one that I made whilst helping Maxine with her fab workshop on Saturday.
We had a lovely time with some of the ladies from Craven Arms Embroiderers Guild.
They were so enthusiatic and created some lovely needle felted pictures.
Maxine is going to blog about them but it may take a while. When she has, I will leave a link here so you can see what we all got up to. Link to Tilly Tea Dance blog.

Lastly, and apologies for an out of focus photo, here are a few outfits for a teddy bear that I made last week.
I am a real butterfly and flit from one crafty activity to another!!

So that's it for this week - hope you are enjoying the sunshine and the breath of Springtime.
Have a great week.

WOYWW- a bit late!

Just a bit late this week but better than last week when I never managed to show you my WOYWW!
Life has just beeen a bit busy with a few crafting tasks and a few days helping Maxine with her crafty workshop.
Today my desk is loaded with up cycled frames ready to put little needle-felted pictures into.
Then you might spot a box of bits and bobs with a few little "dumfed" samples on the top.
You can also see little Katie Morag on my window sill. I found a half finished one in a drawer so decided that I would complete her before she got lost once I start packing boxes.
Just beside her is a shirt for a teddy - I have to make a couple of teddies outfits this week so will be using that as a pattern.

And lastly, here I am modelling the latest little hooded poncho I have made as a snuggly wrap for Ben.

The towelling ones worked perfectly and M thought a fleecy one would be useful too so I used half of a fleece blanket and added just a dinosaur or two!!
I think I will link this post to Annie's Friday smile as I am sure you will all be grinning and thinking what a twit I look!!!

Have a great week.
Sorry for not being round much recently but thanks for dropping by.
