WOYWW

Well, what wonderful ATCs dropped through our letter boxes this week!
Annie and I sent out about 20 ATCs and our WOYWW blogging buddies certainly kept Mr Postie busy. I still have a couple more to photograph but I left them at Annie's when we met up for Sunday lunch. So, I will pop them on here next week.

Thanks lots to all.....

What a lovely way to celebrate 9 years of WOYWW friendship.

My table hasn't really seen much action, although I did spend an hour trying out my new stitches on my sewing machine. I made this little rag book as a reminder of what they actually look like on fabric.

I don't have any stitchy projects on the go at the moment but I am really pleased with my machine and I am sure it will get lots of use soon.

AND - just to send you off with a smile - take a look at the clematis running riot over my fences this week. . .

So, that's it for this week.

Have a great week.

WOYWW 9th birthday celebrations!

Good morning to all our WOYWW friends around the globe!

Thanks to that lovely blogger Julia, we have been linking up with crafty bloggers around the globe for 9 years.
We have "met" such talented crafters during our mad Wednesday blog hop and, even if we haven't met you in real life, we really feel that we have a whole set of friends that we would never have known without WOYWW.

So, thanks Julia and long may WOYWW keep going.

Annie and I posted our ATCs yesterday but I have saved one for my PIF.
So, if you sign up after me on Mr Linky - send me your address and I will post one to you today.

Have a great week!

xx Jo

WOYWW

Happy WOYWW everyone!
It's been a busy week so far.
I managed to find a little bit of time to get to know my new machine (well, I call it "playtime"!).

I decided to make a few cards using the free motion machine foot, hoping that it would work as well as the old Husqvarna it has replaced.
This was my first attempt and I think it worked well - it was smooth and easy to use and all the fancy add-ons, like thread snipper etc proved really useful.

I also had time to finish off and parcel up 25 little dollies for Margaret (glitterandglue).

Here they are waiting on my desk on Sunday and if you look on Annie's blog and maybe even Margaret's blog you might see us handing them over to the lovely lady herself!
She called in to collect dolls and bags from Annie and we managed a little get together for an hour or two - the time flew - so good to meet up with her at last!

Oops! Looks like one has escaped Margaret!

I will pop him in a box where he can wait for a few more friends to arrive.

I still have a bag full of wool - how did that happen!!! lol So, I will continue making dollies or twiddle mitts or anything else that takes my fancy.

Have a great week all.

Enjoy this lovely weather.

xx Jo

WOYWW

I am hoping I have time to post a little something for WOYWW.
Today I am at the hospital for a check up on my face.
The scar is fading and looks Ok so I hope the consultant will sign me off - I think I have made about eight journeys over to Birmingham in the last twelve months!

My workdesk is a fun place to be (if only I had time) - as I bought a new sewing machine last week. Annie and I had a play with it on Saturday, while the men were at footie, and we both agreed it is just the job! I just need a few hours to master all the new bits and bobs.

Here is a quick snap of it....

So, it's short and sweet for this week.

I hope you enjoyed the last few days of sunshine. I loved it - except for the nasty minibeast that bit me four times on my shoulder and is a nasty itchy mess at the moment.

Have a great week.

xx Jo

WOYWW

This was my little job for the day - sorting through a big bag of workshop leftovers for Tilly Tea Dance.
Workshop link  https://www.tillyteadance.co.uk/felting-art-workshops-shropshire

At the end of her workshops, they just get popped in a bag and I decided it was all useful stuff.
So, I sorted it into colours and re-bagged it. Now she will be able to re-use it for more workshops or taster sessions. Doesn't it look pretty and wouldn't you just love to dabble with all those little bits and bobs?

Below is just a sneaky peek at some of my ATCs. I have made 20 so, if anyone wants to swap just leave me a comment. Annie and I will do our usual trick of sending them out together. If you want to swap with us both you can pop yours into one envelope and send them to me or Annie and we will share them out! We both love our annual WOYWW birthday celebration so feel free to join in with our fun.
I apologise for not visiting many desks last week. Time just flew by.
I promise I will try harder this week.

Have a great week.
