Good morning to all my WOYWW friends across the globe.
I hope you are all well and enjoying the lovely Spring weather we had over the last few days.
My desk is looking rather tidy.
You can see my bargain bias binding maker and my buttons to cover beside some buttonhole elastic.
I guess I might be letting out some trousers soon.
Yes! I did it again - spent Monday with Annie and crafted there - leaving all my threads and scrappy bits at hers!
This is what I made....
It's a little card for Annie's son and fiancee who get married soon. I wanted something nice to pop their wedding gift in.
My other crafty activity this week involved using up the last half metre of fabric left over from the dress I made for Maxine. I just hope we have a nice warm Summer so that she can wear it. It was quick to make so I might look for a bit more jersey fabric for another one.
That's it for this week folks.
I hope you enjoyed checking me out - I will be over to look at what you are up to soon.

Just a few photos to share with you today...
Not much work going on at my table but little Tanner bear has found a new friend!
Margaret at Glitterandglue put out a request for knitted dollies for charity.
Now, I am not very good at knitting little things but, under Annie's excellent tuition, I managed this one! Thanks Annie.
Pop over to Margaret's blog HERE if you fancy joining in.

Last week I had a pile of fabric ready to make into little bead bags for Jo to send to CHICs.
I managed to make 18 and hopefully by now they will have arrived in the post Jo!
Don't they make a colourful photo. They will be given to children with cancer to keep their treatment beads in. They get a bead each time they have one of their cancer treatments.
The last photo shows the contents of my latest car boot bargain.
I picked up this biscuit tin filled with all sorts of sewing goodies.
Perfect for a gal like me and I am sure I shall be sharing it with Annie too.
Enjoy a good snoop girls!
OK - we are still busy decorating - er when I say we, I mean my hubby is doing all the work - I just have the "accidents" and clearing up to sort out!! Don't ask!
Suffice it to say ...we managed to replace the glass shade for the uplighter.
Have a great week.

Just a splash of red to brighten your day!
This week we celebrated our Ruby wedding anniverary so there seems to be a lot of red around the house to share with you.
Thanks to all for the lovely cards and flowers.
Sometimes 40 years seems a l-o-n-g time and then you look back and wonder where the years went!

WOYWW
Good morning all!
Here is my table for you to have a good snoop around today - it is quite tidy - mainly because I haven't really done much on it over the last week!
Of course I have been crafting with Annie but that was at hers so I left all the mess down there!!!
My little pink purse is filling up with the ATCs that I made at Annie's yesterday.
If you want to swap with me when the WOYWW 5th birthday arrives in May, then leave a comment and I will make a list. It's a lovely way of finding out what fab techniques the WOYWWers can come up with and we really enjoy joining in each year. So, thanks to Julia for giving us this little pleasure!
The other bits and bobs on my table include instructions for a fab bag from Gina aka Ginxie on Etsy.
I will show you what I do with it once I get going on it.
Also there is some cheery fabric that I will make a few bead-bags for Jo's collection for CHICs.
AND my carboot bargain jigsaws - we all love the hungry caterpillar don't we.
Below are the two dresses that I showed you fabric for last week. Ha ha - well I suppose I have been quite busy on my table then haven't I?!!
They both need hems doing to finish them off but I need to see them on M. first.
Well that's it for this week.
I will be over to check out a few desks later.
Have a great week.

Friday smile
Good morning all.
Just a quick smile for you today.....
A man went into a Birmingham supermarket and tried to buy half a cauliflower. The very young greens-produce assistant told him that they sold only whole cauliflowers. The man persisted, and asked to see the manager, and the boy went to find him.
Walking into the stock room, the boy said to his manager, "Some w****r out there wants to buy half a cauliflower." As he finished his sentence, he turned to find the customer standing right behind him, so he added, "And this gentleman has kindly offered to buy the other half."
The manager approved the deal, and the man went on his way. Later the manager said to the boy, "I was impressed with the way you got yourself out of that situation earlier. We like people here who think on their feet. Where are you from, son?"
"Cardiff, sir," the boy replied.
"Why did you leave Cardiff ?" the manager asked.
The boy said, "Sir, there's nothing there but prostitutes and rugby players."
"Really?" said the manager. "My wife is from Cardiff ."
"You're kidding?" replied the boy. "What position did she play?"

Happy WOYWW to all those happy crafters that like to pop in here and see what I have been up to.
If you want to join in then follow this link to Julia's Stamping Ground - she has well over 100 folks like me who like a good snoop at other crafters' work spaces!
Here is my work table today.....
I treated Maxine to some more fabric for a couple of frocks.
The navy fabric is the same design as last week but a different colour way.
I think I will make the navy up in the same style as last time but I have bought a new pattern for the pink one.
I just hope it looks as nice made up as the other one did.
I always find choosing a pattern difficult but I think this one might come in useful over the next few months! (Scroll down and read my last post!!!)
I bought a Sewing World magazine just out of curiosity. It has a few interesting articles and, of course, lots of adverts for fabric etc.
I have also been given several hand embroidered tray cloths.
Maxine wants me to create a table centre with them for her vintage china tea party sets that she is hoping to raise cash with for her charity. I am sure I have seen an idea on Pinterest somewhere!
OK so now I need to get sewing!
Have a great week and thanks for calling by.

Just a photo of the gorgeous flowers M. gave me for Mother's Day.
It came with a pretty handmade card that said I had been such a good Mum they were promoting me to Grandma in September!
Who could ask for more!

WOYWW
Just a quick post today as I will be dashing to Maxine's to await a delivery van.
I am afraid my table is just a bit of a mess.
I have been decorating the kitchen this week so there hasn't been much time for crafty fun!...
I managed to finish Maxine's dress and then I found enough wool to knit another little cardi.
The tall cones of thread are my latest car boot bargain.
I bought them for Annie but she has more than enough so I will probably put them on ebay.
It is blind hemmer thread - 20,000 metres!
Now - a little request - please go over to Annie's blog "A stitch in time".
She needs your love and positive vibes to perk her up - why is house selling so problematic in this country?
Thanks lots
Have a good week.
