WOYWW

Good morning all - thanks for dropping in to see what I have been up to this week.
More little frocks on display and more to come, I think!

Thanks lots to Sue H who has kindly donated another duvet for us to transform into pretty little frocks for the "Dress a girl around the world scheme." I love the little tag she sent with it - you are all such clever card makers.

These three dresses were made with the last duvet Sue sent us. I have loads more fabric left to use to trim up a few plain ones too.

These 2 were made with the last bits of bright pink dyed duvet. It never ceases to amaze me just how many dresses we can make from the bits and bobs we have in our fabric stash. I am sure it multiplies when we aren't looking!!

This afternoon I popped over to see Tina at Indigo Moon in Montgomery. She has lots of new stock in the shop so it is well worth a visit. I just had to treat myself to a few bits and bobs but I will show you those next week.
Now I have to get going on a few crafting jobs - I don't know where the time goes.
Luckily my back is better this week so I am back up to speed again!

If you want to see how I spent my day yesterday, then check out Annie's blog - I can hear you all going Ahhh! already.
Have a great Wednesday all. Enjoy your blog hop - now over to Julia's Stamping Ground and see what she has been throwing on the floor today!!

Oh wow Jo, that got there quick because I only posted it on Monday afternoon!

Love the little Pink dresses and I can’t wait to see the Bright Blue and Yellow one finished. I’ll keep my eye open for any quilt covers in the charity shop next time I’m in town.

Happy Sewing!

Great stuff as ever and I'm really amazing you aren't fed up repeating those little dresses. Such a worthwhile cause I suppose, keeps you going.
The cards you made in your previous post are perfect... don't knock them!

Wednesday already...acckkkk!!! it goes so quickly. Every darn week. And this week it seems there is too much to do other than fun stuff. It's all appointments and things I ignored or neglected all summer. oh, well...my own fault I guess. A few more weeks and... I will be doing fun stuff...wheeeeeeeeee oh, and next week will be no appointments and just a fun albeit short visit with my sister. Mine lives much too far away for my liking... I wish we lived close like you and yours..... sigh.......what fun we could have on a regular basis....

Another set of gorgeous dresses. Love the colour/pattern of the 1st 3. Going to try my hand at a patchwork one next as I have been sent loads of 5" charm squares from an american swap I did back in the summer. 39 squares should do it!! Hugs Mrs A.

I still think making dresses is the most wonderful way to give. After all, I doubt they would use donated money for clothes, it's needed for food and shelter first.

I just love seeing all the different fabrics and dresses - each one has it's own mood and story! Saw the pics from the craft sale - looked fab - wanted to come but was already booked - hoping to do one some time too. If I pluck up the courage and find envelopes for all my cards!

Lovely duvet from Sue, really bright and cheerful. Still think the dresses are amazing, even after 117 of them!

Hi Jo, more lovely little dresses - and it's hard to believe that some of them start life as something as practical as a duvet cover. Elizabeth x #55
