Just a quick post this week for WOYWW.
I have been busy entertaining and having fun with Ben. He is a delight and we have enjoyed having him here.
Last week I managed a bit of time embroidering a little needle felted card for my little sis.
And then, this week, I started a new cardi for my friend's granddaughter.
The yarn is overall a bit more peachy than this section shows so, I hope it will knit up nicely.
I love a bit of random yarn but do like to try to match both sides! Mad, I know but it just annoys me if they don't look the same or similar though I am sure they are intended to be completely randomly worked. 😀
So that's me for this week.

I remember being amazed the first time you and Annie explained to me about finding the matching start of the variegated yarn so the random sleeves could both be the same, that blew my mind! It’s a pretty pattern (I have it too!) and works up quickly. Your little felty pic is gorgeous too and made for a beautiful card. Thanks for the top tip, that really does make a lot of sense as the size of the stitch isn’t always immediately apparent. I’m looking forward to playing nicely, lol!

I've been to Jan's and seen your tip....you really are a walking resource! Matching sides is a thing for me too, although I don't knit...I have a thing for centre front seams that don't carefully match a pattern...makes every part of me itch!
I'm sat here giggling at the memory of us unwinding balls of yarn together to find the right bit to knit with Jo....I like both side to match too :-)

Your felted card is beautiful. I never thought of rewinding balls of wool to find the matching start for the two sides! Mind blown! I don’t mind a bit of random, though.
