Just thought you might like to see my sewing activity for the end of the week.
Three little broiderie anglais pinnies for three little flower girls to wear whilst they eat their meals at the wedding reception. We are hoping they will help keep their posh frocks clean!!
And here is a most beautiful ruby red rose which we were given for our Ruby wedding anniversary in April. I took this before the rain came and battered it today.
Join in with Annie's Friday smile and post something that you think will put a smile on our faces - it's easy and it's always nice to spread a bit of joy isn't it.
Have a lovely weekend.

WOYWW - latest crafty activities!
Good morning all!!
This week I have been mostly dumfing little "fairy gardens" and sewing camouflage fabric for a fellow WOYWWer. It's lovely to be able to help out other craty folk isn't it.
Caro asked if I would make a curtain for her little boy's under-bed den. I love a challenge!!
So we bought a double duvet in camouflage fabric and I have been busy with my little project.
I will let Caro show and tell the finished item when it is in place in the "top secret" den. Don't you just love the imagination of a child.
So - here's my table - well it's definitely there somewhere beneath the sea of camo- fabric.
AND here is a little collage of some of my favourite dumflings.
I had a brainwave for mounting and selling them.
These little canvasses are 10cm x 10cm.
I painted little scenes as a background and then attached my little dumflings.
(If only I had LITTLE dumflings!!!)
Let me know what you think.
Some of the others will go on cards.
Some may even go in my little frames that I am re-cycling.
Never a dull moment here!!
Join in the blog hopping fun over on Julia's Stamping Ground.
It's a great chance to see what we crafty WOYWWers get up to and you can give Julia a virtual hug and help her get better!
Have a great week.

Friday smile
Apologies to any lady golfers out there for my Friday Smile.......
One morning three women are golfing on the fourth green when suddenly a bloke runs by wearing nothing but a bag over his head.As he passes by the first woman, she looks down and says, “Well, he’s certainly not my husband.”As he passes by the second woman, she also glances downward and says, “He’s not my husband either.”He then passes by the third woman Audrey, who also looks down as he runs by her.“Wait a minute,” Audrey says.“He’s not even a member of this golf club!”
Enjoy a few more smiles over on Annie's "A stitch in time blog".
Have a great weekend all.

WOYWW - More Dumflings!
Firstly can I apologise for not visiting any blogs last week.
Our broadband went down and we were without it for 4 days!!
It caused chaos in the locality because even the local supermarket was down and everyone had to pay cash for petrol and shopping because the machines/tills wouldn't operate.
Makes you wonder how we would cope in a major disaster!
This week I am showing you my dumfing table at Annie's
I had lots of scraps of wet felted fabric so I used my hand dumfer to create some little dumflings.
Below are the ones that I beaded/stitched and mounted on card last week.
I have another dozen to finish now!! (keeps me out of mischief).
(Click on the photo to enlarge)
Thanks lots everyone. ( Chris D., Robyn, & Anne) I am now planning a little album so store them in.
I made a lovely one last year so I had better get going with the next one soon.
I hope you are all well and enjoying the sunshine - especially our "Queen of snoop" - Julia who has been rather a poorly girl over the last couple of weeks. Best wishes Julia - from us all!
Have a great week everyone and I promise I will try and get round some desks this week.

Friday smile
Just a normal day in my garden!
Above is a young blackbird on my lawn.
It sat there for ages with its wings fanned out, enjoying the sunshine.
Later the rain came.
Now I know this little squirrel was really trying to get past the umbrella to the peanuts but it really did look as if it was sheltering from this quick shower.
We will never know!
Have a great weekend and if you feel like you need another smile or two, popover to Annie's "A stitch in time blog" and see what is making everyone else smile today.

WOYWW
Good morning all!!
Help yourself to a cupcake.
I did my usual trick of working down at Annie's yesterday - free machining my cupcakes - it's OK there isn't a law against it yet!
The lovely LLJ gave me some beautiful fabric to use for my daughter's charity that she works for.
So Jan, I just cut out the cupcakes and free machined them to some vintage broiderie anglais.
Maxine will love them and they will sell well at their "Shropshire Bake-off" in September, I hope.
Also, I have taken a pic of each one and can print some off on my sparkly new printer too.
Below are some more gorgeous ATCs that Mr Postie has dropped through my letterbox.
Thanks lots to all our happy crafters who have been so kind in swapping their little works of art with us. Every one of you have said what a fab group the WOYWWers are and I can only agree - thanks Mrs Dunnit - hope you are enjoying your hols!
Short and sweet this week.
Hope you are all well and enjoying the sunshine.
Thanks for popping by.
Have a great week.

Friday smile
Just the view through my window of my neighbour's honeysuckle.
It is so pretty and the perfume is wonderful.
Have a good weekend everyone and join in Annie's Friday smile over on her "A stitch in time blog".
Thanks for mentioning my "Great Tits" Annie!

Good morning all!!
Just sharing a few dumflings on my desk today!!
Annie and I had and afternoon of dumfing fun on Monday and I worked on a small scale with my little Clover hand dumfer. Then in the evening I added a few beads and stitches to finish them off.
I might put a few on little canvasses - what do you think?
Also you can see a few of my poppy brooches which might be scattered around Maxine's exhibition in July. Jo had the idea of making a 100 year remembrance display, linking in Maxine's lovely poppy pictures, so we might just do that.
AND below - the stunning array of ATCs that Mr Postie has been delivering over the last week.

It never ceases to amaze me how different they all are and what a talented bunch you clever WOYWWers are!
A huge thank you to all.
Annie and I posted most of ours together and if you haven't received them yet, they are on their way.
Have a great week.
See you next week.
