WOYWW

Good morning to everyone who has popped into my blog to see what's on my work table today.

It hasn't seen much activity this week.
I have been plotting and planning a few crafty items but nothing much to show for it.

The dinosaur fabric is out so that I can decide what other colours I need to buy to make a quilt.
I think turquoise and orange would go well with it - what do you think?

The lighthouse picture is a little fabric collage that Maxine made.
She has sold one or two - this one is for sale if anyone wants it.
Contact me if you do and I will send you details etc)

I bought a Craftseller magazine - just for inspiration really.
Has anyone else seen it?
I am not sure I will buy another one but it did have a couple of freebies and one or two interesting items.

Short and sweet this week - I am out with my little sis today so goodness knows what mischief we will get up to!!!

Thanks for calling by and leaving lovely comments.
I will be round to visit your desk later in the week.
OK Mr Linky and the lovely Julia - here I come to join in the WOYWW fun.

x Jo

Fab fabric Jo - and yes, turquoise and orange will look great!
Not heard of that magazine and as far as I can remember not seen it in the shops either.
Have a wonderful day out and give my love to your little sis.
Hugs, Neet (keep some for yourself) xx 25

Yep - I'm with everyone else - turquoise and orange sound great - will look forward to seeing the finished quilt. I've seen craftseller in the shops - but not bought one - so don't know what it is like inside.
Have a fabulous day with your little sis.

I agree re turquoise and orange will go very well methinks. I bought Craftseller. Like you I don't think I will buy another. Have bought one or two (or more) magazines of late and have been quite disappointed really. Too many adverts for one thing. Like you looking for inspiration but nothing working for me. I am always like that with magazines Twiglet - I see one and buy it and there is probably one article that I use and then I think I won't both to buy it again.

lucky you and Annie..... I am getting excited but, trying not to get my hopes up too high.... I may be going to B.C.... (the next province over and an 8 hour drive away) to visit my little sister. Haven't seen her for over a year and a half and a lot has happened to her in that time....including losing her son and breaking her leg and ankle, having to put down her older horse and the death of two of her old cats... it's been a horrible few years for her....she still doesn't have her son's ashes from the evil troll who was his wife... .and will never have them from the sounds of it.... she is not coping well at all and has some pretty sad days... there are so many reasons I couldn't go before now...but, this time I have to go... regardless of what happens.... or who I beat up.... I'm packing a baseball bat with me and going anyway.

Hi Jo, well, I know already where you went off to with your sister on Wednesday, that's what comes of me being so late in visiting this week, and, judging by the photos I've seen you had a wonderful time surprising the other Jo. The fabric is lovely and colourful and I think turquoise and orange would be perfect. Haven't seen that mag ... as I don't plan to sell I didn't think it was for me. Might flick through next time I'm in WH Smith's. Hope you have a wonderful weekend. Elizabeth x #59
