WOYWW

Last week my table was stacked with bits and bobs that I was hoping to craft with later in the week.
Well, I have had a busy time - including a fun day Monday at Annie's.
Here are some of the things I have been busy with.

Firstly the tulip collage that I made for one of my Yorkshire friend's birthday.
I think it will brighten a little space on her kitchen wall don't you?

Next, I used up some of my leather flowers and some of my fabric stash to make these little clutch bags.

I love this simple design. It has a velcro fastening and is lined with pretty fabric and has two little inside pockets.
Then I made a little handbag notebook. It is quilted and beaded with tiny pages secured with brads and a velcro fastening - cute!

And lastly here is the collage I made using last week's blank canvas.

I painted the canvas with a pinky wash and then made my little birthday cake collage to stitch onto it.
I think it would make a pretty birthday gift. What do you think?

I was going to take a pic of  my sewing room this morning but its such a mess I decided I couldn't reveal all!!!!   A little tidying up needed I think.

So that's my week. Now I shall pop over to see what Julia our blog hopping organiser has been up to.
Join us over at Julia's Stamping Ground. It's great to see what you are all up to and fun to "visit" a few new desks each week.
Thanks for popping in here and for all your kind comments.
x Jo

Morning! Some nice makes on the blog as usual but I guess the one that steals the show is the last one. Love that canvas!

I am going away in a few weeks and my friends are going to try (I say try) to turn me into a stitcher. We'll see.

Love the collage. I was thinking of doing something similar with the pieces of Japanese silk fabric I got for a Christmas present. Iron it on to webbing yesterday and now looking for ideas.

How many hours do you have in your days? I'm sure it must be a lot more than I have in mine!

I think the cake collage would be a lovely first birthday present for a little girl.

What a pity you didn't show the sewing room - it's only a mess because you've been using it to create such beautiful things (Hazel, WOYW #138) x

Lovely selection of goodies there! I like the handbags very much - were they difficult to make? I like doing craft fairs for the chat and meeting some nice folk :)

It looks like you have been having lots of fabric fun. Those little clutch bags are just too cute. Your wall hangings are excellent but my favorite piece is the quilted notebook. So precious!
