 Here we are again.

Another week, another What's on Your work desk Wednesday.

This week I have been working for Tilly. This was my table yesterday..

I created over twenty fibre packs. It's time consuming but I enjoy the slow pleasure of choosing merino fluff in toning colours and putting them together ready for sale at workshops.

I've also been bagging up postcards to go with all the other stock for Tilly's sale shelf at The Bog Visitor Centre.

I love this little print from her needle felted foxglove picture.

For relaxation,  I've been knitting a few more tiny hearts. I love this random wool...

And finally .. 

This lovely peacock butterfly was basking in my garden before it turned cold and the wild, wet, windy weather descended on us!

Friday smile

Don't you just love it when the sun shines and the butterflies descend on your garden.
This afternoon I had about 6 Peacock butterflies, a Comma, a Red Admiral, 2 Small Tortoiseshells and lots of Cabbage Whites - all on the buddleia plant.
My camera and photographic skills didn't allow me to snap them all - some were out of focus but the splash of colour in that butterfly collage certainly makes me smile.

And below are some rather fuzzy snaps of the Red Kite that was cruising the field at the back of my house. I think there is an adult and a young one around the vicinity.

 

We are so lucky to be able to see them so close to home.

Oops it's WOYWW!

How could I forget that it's Wednesday and I should be showing everyone the state of my work space today?  My excuse is that it was a Bank Holiday Monday instead of fun day Monday and my week is all higgledy piggledy. Not to worry better late than never to join in with Julia's gang in the mad blog hop!

Here it is then - the dumping ground for all things crafty in my house this week.....

Just the remnants of a few crafty activities.
I covered an office chair for Maxine's neighbour in that black silk fabric.
The green "cotton wool buds" are dumfed dragon fly bodies made with wool rovings.
Scattered about are a few of my dumfed pictures which need framing.
In the bottom corner is a bag of bright pink wool ready for knitting hoodies for the girls.
The rest is just mess!!

This was where I spent yesterday afternoon picking bilberries...

And these minibeasts were enjoying the sunshine in my garden...

And today it's pouring with rain and really gloomy so I am going to get my wet felting kit out and make some background pieces for my felting pictures.
