WOYWW - In memory of Sarah

I'm posting this photo of my birthday flowers as it is bright, cheerful and uplifting. At this sad time we certainly need some positivity.

Life is fragile and last week emphasized the fact. We lost our dear friend so suddenly and it has shocked us all.

We are now left with our own memories of the lovely lass that was Sarah.

Maxine and I will remember how she loved to join in with Tilly Tea Dance workshops. She often came to Shrewsbury with Eva to enjoy a day's needle felting and I know she loved the finished pieces which she gave as gifts to friends and family. I used to pop up to the venue to have a chat and a catch up.

I found this beautiful little robin that she made with Tilly and shared on her WOYWW  blog.

And this is Sarah's Bluebell woods picture.

She had quite a talent in needle felting and made some beautiful pictures over the years.

She also, very kindly, supported Maxine by buying her tiny pieces of felted artwork and had a shelf specially for them.
She even collected frames for Maxine, from Stoke, when we couldn't buy them in Shrewsbury.
Such was the lovely, thoughtful lass we knew and loved.

We were so glad when she stepped in to take over from Julia and keep WOYWW going. Now I hope Julia can pick up the traces and keep our much valued little group of crafters together.
Sarah will be much missed by us all.
Our thoughts are with her family and friends especially Eva.

Thinking of you all.
