Happy WOYWW everyone
I hope you are all keeping cool and safe during the heatwave. We have limited our outings and tried to drink plenty of water, keeping out of the sun.
I've pottered in my sewing room but really it's been too warm for anything to tricky.
I framed a felted, bluebell picture for Tilly..
It reminded me of a lovely day - probably 43 years ago when we walked in the bluebell woods, where I took this photo. Where do those years go?!And finally......our other little artist in the family made this oil pastel card for his Grandad...
Aren't we blessed to have such arty talent in the family.Stay safe all.

Oh that photo in the bluebell woods…it is so beautiful and I have one very like it of my two boys standing in the bluebells in Savernake woods near Marlborough. It is my favourite photo of all time of them and takes me back in an instant xxxxx. So I can see why that framed felt pic reminded you of it! Great card by Ben too, he’s got a proper talent like his mum and grandma.
I’m sorry you didn’t get the email, can you send me an email and I’ll try again by return.
Hugs LLJ 4 xx

Dashing around quick before the heat builds...
LOVE the bluebell wood - I still recall driving down the motorway and wondering what that streak of colour was flashing by as we drove. It's always been a magical sight. The card is sweet as can be too.
Happy far, FAR too hot WOYWW

Aw, young Ben has really collected your and Max’s genes hasn't he, that card is lovely, I think pastels are really tricky. O expect a lot of us have a version of that beautiful picture of your young Max, it’s hard to understand the speed of time, their childhood pics make a mockery of the length of a year!
