WOYWW

Good morning all

Well here we are again, moving into our 17th year of friendship and sharing. It was lovely to link up with our friends who joined us on our Zoom meeting on Saturday. Thanks to Sarah for setting it up for us. It gave Annie an excuse to pop round so that we could link up together. It's always good to spend time with my little sis!

I've had another busy week sorting artwork for Tilly. Here are some little felted sheep pictures all ready to go to a gallery in Yorkshire.

Below is a tiny orchid that Annie gave me three years ago. This week, the three little buds have popped open to reveal these stunning tiny blooms.

Now....

Remember my motherboard? Spider suggested that I scanned it so that it could used as a background paper when printed off. So here is the result.

If anyone would like me email the scan to you, then email me and you can have it.
So that's me for this week.
Last night we had a tremendous thunderstorm. We had about half an hour of really heavy rainfall, so our gardens will be breathing a sigh of relief at getting a long drink at last. I hope some of it managed to soak into the parched ground

We have had a bit of rain overnight and more due during the day, so I will be a "do stuff at home" day and then a couple of trips planned for Thursday & Friday (Saturday's Kew is likely to be damp again... but that won't stop me. glad you enjoy the photos). Happy WOYWW Helen #2

It was so lovely to see you on Saturday and have a catch up with everyone, obviously meeting in real life is better but this is a close second! We’ve had rain overnight but no thunder, don’t know if it’s enough really other to damp the soil down a bit. I’m in the RNLI shop this afternoon so we’ll see if the rain brings the customers out or not! Lovely pics of Max’s spread out, how wonderful that her work is going far and wide xx

I hope we get some rain soon though it's more likely now as it's school half term next week! Love the felted pics they are gorgeous. The Motherboard looks good too, I would love a copy and have sent you an email. I am so sorry to have missed the Zoom meeting on Saturday but it was crazy here as hubby was getting ready to go away to start the school visits as the exams have started. Wishing you a very happy and creative woyww. Hugs angela x10x

Maxine’s little felted pictures are so sweet! A friend of mine runs Two Doors Studio in Alsager. It’s an arts and craft shop with workshop space. I think Maxine would need to arrange to visit as Lorna likes to sell local arts & crafts. The website is here: https://www.twodoorsstudio.co.uk/.
It’s so exciting that your orchid has flowered. It’s beautiful.
Happy WOYWW

Hello Jo, the Zoom call sounds so much fun, especially as you and Annie were able to get together for it. I'm sorry I missed it. I always love your daughter's little felted pictures. The sheep always remind me of the many holidays Alan & I had in Yorkshire. The tiny orchid is gorgeous and well worth the wait. And I'm so impressed with your motherboard. I've created masterboards with paint, stamps and inks in the past but never thought to use fabric. You've inspired me. Have a lovely week. Hugs, Ellie x #12

That's a lovely background Jo - certainly would like a copy of the scan, thanks. Love Max's sheep pictures - I bet they sell well on Yorkshire. Trying to visit all tonight as I have workmen coming tomorrow to sort the rotten gatepost and rehang the gate. Great to see you on Saturday. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah

Tilly's little felted sheep are delightful and everyone is unique. I'm sure they will sell very quickly. Pretty little orchid, I'm glad it is flowering again for you.
It has rained here this afternoon but probably not as much as is needed. We will be getting more during the week though...maybe.
Have a lovely week.
