WOYWW - the first for 2016

Happy New Year everyone!
Thank you for dropping by to inspect my crafty activities on my work desk!
I hope you all enjoyed a lovely Christmas and good New Year celebrations.

Now we are looking forward to a busy and hopefully healthy 2016.

So, my desk today should be loaded with exciting projects and fun stuff to do... er... well maybe next week. Not that I am procrastinating or anything - I am just a bit slow off the mark!
This the view from the window side of my table - obviously still a bit of sorting and re arranging to do - but at least it is a useable if slightly over crowded space.

I have a list of things I need to do including curtains and a couple of refurbishing jobs but as yet I haven't made a start - no real excuses - just the Christmas slow down I guess. I think I need to detox and lose the extra pounds that I gained over the holidays and then I will be back to my usual bouncy self!

The little washing tablet boxes have my inchies project waiting for completion. I made quite a few frosty sparkly ones as Christmas cards but still have a few to finish for pictures or birthday cards.
The Yorkshire Calendar was a gift and is full of old railway posters which I love. Behind that is a box of pamper goodies - body butter and all that - so I will be a shiny, very slippery smoothy this year!

I hope you enjoyed the snoop - I will be tracking you down and checking out your desks when time allows this week so don't forget to join in the fun over at Julia's Stamping Ground.

x Jo

Yep this is the time to rearrange boxes an reassess - and then things all go back where they were with me. I too got body butters - M&S sale but I like the Christmas smelly ones x Jackie 26

Lots of interesting things to see here Jo! I love old railway posters - hubby's choice of calendar this year is Birds Of Prey, so maybe next year… I see the Radio Times puzzle page, I do love their puzzles!! Hugs, Chrisx #38

Hi Jo well I think most of us need to have a clear out and as for losing the extra weight I certainly do. I had diet coke yesterday lunchtime at the pub instead of my usual Guinness and no biscuits at craft club on Monday so I feel I've made a good start! I use those washing tab boxes too. Aren't they handy. Have lots of crafty fun in 2016. Barbxx #28

Oh I dread to think about what awaits me when I get home - lots of tidying up in my craft room. Just didn't have much time after the C" period to get organised before I was whisked off in the sky for this journey.
Washing tab boxes - hmmm must investigate.
Happy New Year - Hugs, Neet 13 xx

What a wonderful description, Jo - a shiny, slithery, smoothy, you. Brilliant! Your room is looking good - all ready for action once you find your bobbance and bounce. I'm sure it will soon be there - it's difficult to keep you down.
Take care. God bless.

We all need a little pampering in life! I like the look of your calendar. Nobody bought me one this year so I ending up buying myself a hedgehog one

Hi Jo, I have to admit to being a slow starter this week - it's probably the post-festivities blues - but I've decided that I'm not bothered - I'm retired and there's nobody chasing me to get things done 'toot sweet' anymore :) I think I need to make friends with someone who uses washing tablets - those boxes make great storage. Enjoy the pamper goodies and have a great week. Hugs, Elizabeth x #59

As I explained to that "much younger sister" of yours, I had planned to visit sooner, but right after I linked to Julia, my electricity went off. It came back on a short time ago, so now I'm trying to catch up with everyone.

I have decided to stay on top of organizing and purging this year, so I applaud your efforts. I have never detoxed, but I did put on a few unwanted lbs over the holidays.

Happy belated WOYWW from #1.

I did enjoy the snoop thanks. I'm a huge fan of the slippery and moisture laden creams, so totally with you on them being goodies! The inches must be fab, the sparkly crystal twin hie on my card is an absolute delight. On with the curtains then! Ugh!

Careful with that body butter....it can make you fat!!!! That is if you eat it!!! Some of them smell good enough to eat!!
Thanks for your visit earlier.
