Friday smile

Note to self...

Don't press the red "Remove dust collector" button instead of the red "Off" button on your Dyson before attempting to carry it down the stairs!!.........
Hence, it bounced down the stairs and crashed, bursting open and depositing its entire contents across my hall floor. There might have been uttered a word or two - you know... oh dear or blimey!!

On the bright side and a credit to dear old Dyson - nothing was broken and it was soon sorted.

Below are the blueberry and lemon cheesecake topped buns that I made yesterday. I used a gluten free sponge mix for the first time and they are really quite good. Now that did put a smile on my face!
Help yourself to one - they are perfect with a cup of tea or your morning coffee.

The sun is shining, I am nipping round to see Annie's new sewing room later so plenty of smiles here.
Have a great weekend.

Join in with Annie's Friday smiles here.

x Jo

See you later :-)

Oh yum Jo, I have me cuppa (evening) in hand and yummy indeed with those gluten free cakes .. now can have two, cant I? cos gluten free makes them really healthy, eh? :D

... and yes that dust dropping feat does look rather like one of my efforts to clean up too.

Firstly, those buns do look delicious!

I bet you said a few words when your Dyson emptied out everywhere. I have a Dyson too but have a different problem. We had a new carpet fitted a couple of months ago. It's wool and the pile hasn't settled yet. I can only vacuum for a few minutes at a time before it's almost full to the top and has to be emptied. I have to keep opening and emptying out all the time and poking with a knife to get all out!

The sun is shining here too. You have a lovely week. Barbxx

Oh dear, I'm sure you muttered something to that effect. Good old Dyson is made of sturdy stuff!
Your lemon cheesecakes look delish. Did you buy the sponge mix ready made or did you make it yourself? I bought a glutenfree bread mix yesterday at Lidl. (new product) and I'll try it out next week. I'm not celiac but wheat intolerant. Half the year I'm on a strict diet, that keeps me going for a while so in the summer I can eat what i want (and it keeps my weight down).
Have a good week,

Oh dear!! At least YOU didn't bounce down the stairs!!
My old faithful Dennis Dyson is on its way to the big Dyson in the sky now as it has finally died...I did have him in 1997 so he doesn't owe me anything!!
Thanks for the cake. Just perfect to eat after my pizza for lunch!!
Hugs

I pressed the wrong button on my dust collecting bit and the bottom fell out, dropping all the contents on my beautifully hoovered floor!! The air was blue :-)
How exciting to see Annie's new room, the building seems to have shot forward!

Hi Jo, so glad the Dyson didn't break so it could quickly vac up the dust...with our windows open and cats we have dust allll the time. YUM those cakes look deeelicious, pity it's a bit of a trip to come over for a cuppa. Have a fabulous weekend Cheers Robyn

Hmmm...I wonder what this words really were? ..hahahhah.... they would have been more than "blimey" at my house! ... I've done similar silly things...it happens. Luckily it was just dust ..but, it could have been worse... thank goodness it didn't ruin the hardwood.

Have you gone gluten free now then? I have a great little simple recipe for some gluten free chocolate walnut cookies if you'd like it.

Not that I eat gluten free, but a friend's husband has Celiac so I bake for him on occasion.
