WOYWW

Good morning all!
Tuesday was wild windy snowstorms and sunny spells.
Let's hope Wednesday is a bit better.

To brighten your day here is a pic of my latest quilt and bag.......

Straightforward patchwork isn't really my thing but I just loved doing the little collages of characters from the printed fabric I used down the sides of the quilt.
I even made a little cat to pop in the pocket but forgot to take a pic.
Maybe Jo will show you when she blogs them on her Lillybo Quilts blog later this week.
We have had fun making them and I think we may still have enough fabric for a couple more.
We are keeping a look out for interesting panels - maybe to suit older children.

My table is fairly tidy.
Can you see my little collage/embroidered cards.
I just fancied doing something different and I have a friend's birthday coming up.

I will show them in greater detail next week.

Lastly, Annie had a new little helper on Monday!
This little sock dolly is just helping clean up before she set off to Jo of Jozarty with the pink quilt I made last week ( scroll down to my Friday post if you want a peep). She quickly zapped round Annie's workdesk with the mini Henry and then jumped in the tote bag ready to go in the parcel of  Lillybo Quilts. I hope she finds a good home with one of the poorly little children in the Liverpool area.

Ok folks - lets pop over to the lovely Julia's desk and see what she has been doing this week.
Have a great week and thanks for popping in to see me and even becoming a follower in some cases ( I notice I have a few new followers so Hi to you!!)
x Jo

Trust me when I say that little sock dolly wants to call by rather more often. :-) How does my room get so messy?
Love those cards Jo and that quilt is just stunning.

Would you mind sending that little doll round to me first to do my hovering before you send her on to Jo, I could do with a home help!

Well, Jo, your quilts are fantastic, they look pretty perfect to me even though you say they're not your forte! I love them both, the bags are great and the little toys are the perfect finishing touch. I shall be making another next week after I get back from visiting my dad in Wales :)

Hi, just a quick visit to see what you are up to. Unfortunately, the EM is unwell and needs looking after so time for blog-hopping has been limited today. The quilt is beautiful and the sock dolly is adorable ... as is the Henry :) Hope your WOYWW has been happy. Elizabeth x #55

Brilliant quilt Jo -and I love the sock dolly. I'm kinda picking up vibes that Annie is the tidier one and you're less so? Is that why she hides her ironing board on Mondays? I just bet that's a fun day of the week though!

Belated Happy WOYWW, hugs, Di xx #51
