WOYWW - countdown to 401!!

This is what I have been busy with over the last week.....

I have used up all the remaining pieces of fabric kindly donated by our friends, blogging friends and customers.
The mad total of little dresses for the "Dress a girl around the world scheme",  that Annie and I have made between us, is 401.
I think the pictures speak for themselves.

These make up the last parcel of 30 that I will be sending to Louise of Sew Scrumptious. She has been coordinatng the collection and distribution of the frocks - I think we are nearing a grand total of 1000 from all of her blogging friends etc .Update - YES! 1000 reached - click on Louise's link above to find out more!

Thanks lots to everyone who donated fabric and trimmings - we couldn't have done it without you.
I think it was Angie who said I was addicted - she was probably right! However, I shall be giving it a rest for a while. I have lots of other sewing jobs for friends and family so will be busy with them over the next few weeks.

Have a great blog hop everyone - I shall have a bit more time for visiting your desks this week.
Join in by hopping over to Julia's Stamping Ground and  add your blog to Mr Linky.

Wow wow wow. Well done you Jo. The last lot look so very special...who would have thought they were made from the scraps/left overs? :-)

Oh dear Jo, I knew it would happen :( I bought a pretty flowery single duvet cover and a plain fitted sheet and pillowcase on Monday at our local charity shop. They've been washed ready to be ironed and posted to Annie. Not to worry though - you've done absolute marvels and it's time for a rest. Have a great day! Di xx

Hello Jo, I think you and Annie have worked wonders and deserve a medal for the number of pretty little dresses you've made between you - there will be a lot of happy little girls running around wearing them with pride - the rest is well earned and I'm sure you'll enjoy catching up with all the other projects you want to work on. I'm incredibly late, but no less impressed; you should be really proud of your contribution, I'm in no doubt that each recipient will recognise the love in your stitches.

I'm having a terrible time getting Blogger to cooperate with me this week. Your contribution to this project goes above and beyond. I think you and Annie took on this project as the sole makers of these dresses. So impressive.

Love the photos of lots of dresses together. Gorgeous! Would you be happy for me to use it? I've been asked to provide some photos for a possible magazine feature and want to send a selection. That one really caught my eye!

Oh Jo - well done to you and Annie for making all those beautiful dresses - all 400+ of them - each one, no doubt, unique as the little girls who will be wearing them.

Having looked at them in spurts and then the picture here of a load together and it's safe to say that you could have put them on the highstreet and made a fortune as they were just so stylish - however, I know you wouldn't have dreamt of anything other than sending them off to this fabulous cause. Well done you.

Also, happy WOYWW and apologies for not making it round in a while. I'm rubbish at making time for things but do I strive to change that.

Lots of love and hugs
