WOYWW

Well who stole last week then?? It doesn't seem five minutes since I was posting myWOYWW post a week ago - Must be a sign of old age creeping up on me.

I seem to have had a busy time but not much crafting.
I blame the Olympics - watching it - not taking part -lol!

I treated Ben to a doll and a pushchair this week - he loves it - he's called Tom.
I thought a nappy and matching bib would be useful so spent a while making these two.
Note how girl centred dollies are - why don't they show a boy holding the bottle for dolly??

I have managed another Twiddlemuff and Annie delivered four to the local nursing home for me so hopefully they will be put to good use.

I have also been helping Tilly get together her latest shop stock.
This week she is working as "artist in residence" for a day at Acton Scott museum so that will be fun.

So, that's it for this week.

Thanks for calling by.
Have a great week.
x Jo

I remember my boys being attached to their cuddlies and they were fascinated by baby dolls too. Good on you, hope Ben has fun.
I've been glued to the Olympics too, standing and yelling at the tv!! It's been so exciting.
Good luck to Max this week, hope the AiR goes brilliantly!

Lovely to see boys given the opportunity to play and explore, I do agree with you about the time flying ... two weeks since I last visited and it feels like yesterday.

I think all little boys should have a dolly or two....we all want them to be loving, caring daddies not we? I'm sure Marks dolly Francis was good practise for the coming months :-) :-)

Hi Jo,lolled at your caption for Jan! Indeed you'd think nowadays that toy packaging would be more gender neutral, it's not difficult, is it? Hope your day is going well, Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #8. xxx

Such a cute dolly! Yes, the Olympics is on constantly at our house. But I'm actually missing some of my regular programming! You know, I've always wondered that about boys and dollies too. That dolly's outfit is adorable. Hugs! Sandy Leigh #27

I quite agree with you about both genders not being represented.
My SIL is wonderful with Little Soldier, his mother was a childminder so he has changed nappies etc. since a young age. It's a great skill for a man to have .... and we all need a cuddle now and then.
Love the extras you made, bril idea.
Take care

Jo, GREAT idea for Ben!! I think being able to cross the "borders," if you will, expands their minds and helps them think outside box as they get older! Boo hiss for stigmas...they never leave a bad taste in your mouth! Haven't watched much of the olympics, but what I have watched does tend to keep you entranced and side tracked! LOLOL Happy Wednesday to you! :) Blessings

Good for you getting Ben the doll - it's a brilliant idea. And yes, the Olympics is taking up a huge amount of time in our house too - but it's well worth it - aren't we doing great!
Hope you have a great week,

Well hey, you at number one on the list! Several gals left comments that there was no links, but I didn't do anything because I could see it, you could see it...very strange! Love that you bought Ben a dolly, bet he'll learn a lot through having a Tom! Thank you for your extra special email, so thoughtful of you as always.
