WOYWW - a little bit of infinity

Now don't laugh - please - titter ye not -  as Frankie Howerd would say!

I spent an evening last week making this infinity scarf with oddments of James Brett chunky wool and thought a quick selfie was in order - no please,  no more giggling!! So, here I am - age 64 this week and sporting my neatly trimmed hairdo. The scarf is a slight adaptation on the ones LLJ made a few years ago and kindly gave me the pattern, which I mislaid. Well, I couldn't remember what I did so I made it up as I went along - it's only chains and trebles. Now I will be searching out the rest of my left over chunky wool for a couple more. It's lovely and cosy.

My workdesk is empty but this is my other piece of happy knitting that kept me awake each evening this week....

Another cosy little chunky cardi - this time for my friend's grandson.

Well that's it for this week.
I hope you didn't get as wet as I did on my walk round town today - it certainly ruined the hairdo!!
Thanks for calling by.
Have a great week.

x Jo

the haircut really suits you, what a great photo! Happy Birthday for later this week.. and the scarf is gorgeous too! I've been lucky and been inside for most of the rain... cue a soaking today, probably! Helen #1

Your hair looks lovely, it suits you. I was just bringing in the washing when the rain started and I had just had my hair done to. There were pegs and clothes flying everywhere and me screaming "no no no". What a sight.

You're a babe!! Love the funky hair :-). I'd forgotten all about those cowls, yours is much nicer! And that little knitted cardi is fab...did you know it's National Knitting week? I did a display in the craft section of Oxfam complete with Needles, some tension squares and couple of old balls of yarn. It looked quite good!

Hi Jo - great photo! Liking the scarf and the hairdo. It's very grey and wet here today - glad I can stay in. Got soaked on Monday! The cardigan is super as well. Anne x #16

What a lovely photograph - and what a fabulous scarf you have made. It does look cosy. Great cardigan - I thought it was for Ben and was thinking of the extensive wardrobe he must have by now.

To infinity and beyond eh? [think I'm spending too much time with the grandees :-) ]. Is that the one you started when I was with you? Looks fab but thought you were knitting it not crocheting it? :-)

*waving manically* there you are Jo! Looking fab I must say, no titering here. Love the scrf, and I agree, so cosy...I have a few now but wear them almost constantly through the winter..some closer to the neck than others..temperature regulation being a must!!

Happy birthday Jo! You are looking good and much younger than your years!
Love the scarf and the jacket. My friend has already made the one for my little GS from your pattern and now she is using it to knit some for the charity. Will post it soon as I take a pic.
