WOYWW

Good morning all - well actually a wet and gloomy one here.
It doesn't matter much as I am going to town and will dodge the showers.

My table is covered with left over bits and bobs from our crafty activities yesterday.
Maxine has been designing Ben's 1st birthday invites and I guess she will show you what she has been doing on her Tilly Tea dance blog.
On the left is some flesh coloured wool waiting for me to knit some little dollies. Flutterby Patch blog has some really lovely little dollies and she is going to sell her patterns on Etsy so I will make a few for my nieces little ones for their Christmas stockings. The little scrapbox doll on the right is also made following another of Flutterby Patch ideas too.

Below is the little discovery toy that I made for Ben.
He likes to shake it and see what shows through the little plastic window.

Well that's it folks. I need to get sorted ready for my trip to town.
I might be gone for some time as we are going to Watson and Thorntons fabric shop. A great place to lose an hour or two!!

Feel free to snoop around my WOYWW table and leave a little comment - I love to hear from you all.

Enjoy your week.
x Jo

Hello!

I love your sewing machine - really fancy - I have a new one - not as fancy as yours but as I am rediscovering sewing I really like what I have - the toy for little Ben is a real gem!
Have a lovely week!

Ben is a lucky little boy having you both make his special "designer" toys. I looked at the little dollies and they are so cute. I look forward to seeing what you make with your pack of wool. Have a lovely week. Barb#27 xx

Looking forward to seeing the knitted dolly pattern. I will put my thinking cap on to conjure up some ideas for suitable dollies for Ben. I think a knitted builder might be appropriate considering his current fascination with the building site!

You and your daughter should go in to designing children's toys. You have such great ideas and a built in tester in that gorgeous grandson of yours.
Have you recovered from your playtime with your friends last week yet?

Oh those little dollies are GORGEOUS!!! I went over to the site, and will show my auntie, as she adores knitting little dolls. She's knitting the Jean Greenhowe ones at the moment.I will show auntie on the computer when we visit at her Nursing Home next week. She'll love the site.
What a lucky grandson to have you as his granny!LOVE all the wonderful things you make for him.

Coooooo! look at all those buttons on your machine!!!! Bet you have played with all of them!!!
So why no Friday Smiles post then?
Hope you didn't spend all the housekeeping money in the fabric shop or else it will be bread and honey for tea all week :-)
