WOYWW - My 300th post give away!

Good morning all!!
Rain, low cloud and gloomy here but that can't dampen my spirits!
Wipso and I were taken out to the theatre and had a great time last night - what a giggle - I expect she will blog it later!
Here is my table today - a bit of a mess.
  • A little dress cut out ready to sew for baby Lexi.
  • A pretty tin to fill with vintage buttons.
  • A blue make up bag, ideal for all sorts of crafty bits and bobs - new bargain from our local car boot sale.
  • My pile of magazines - I need to put them away really but I just love stopping for the odd minute or two and browsing through for ideas and tips.
  • Loads of elastic and bits for making my little frocks.

NOW - As this is my 300th post and I have well over 100 followers I am happy to announce that the winner of my celebration give away is.........

                                                              JOZART
It couldn't go to a nicer lady!

So, Jo - I will email you with a few suggestions for one of my free machine collages and let you decide what you would like me to do for you! Congratulations!

I would like to add that I have made so many lovely friends through blogging but especially through our WOYWW fun.
Kindness and friendship is in abundance out there and I love the thought that, even though we haven't met, we still feel we can help each other and share our good and not so good times.

Just a little example of kindness......
I asked Di where she bought her cello bags from and the next day she sent me these through the post - what a little gem. Thanks lots Di - (another lovely lady)  and your card is so pretty too.

Also, through blogging, I can keep in touch with all my Yorkshire friends. Most are not bloggers but I know they read my blog and love to know what Wipso and I have been up to. So a special hello to them.

So there we are. Thanks everyone for popping in and for all your lovely comments over the last 300 posts. Now to join in the blog hop over with the WOYWW bunch at Julia's Stamping Ground...

Wow!!! How absolutely wonderful that I've won such a lovely prize. How lucky I am! Thanks so much and I look forward to getting it when it's made. I also hope that you enjoy doing it and can make a piece of art from our boring semi. Will I have to clean my windows??
Lots of great things going on for WOYWW as ever.
Love JoZarty x

Lots of lovely things here today - I'm mad on tins and buttons. Blogging is indeed a special world of it's own and I wouldn't be without it. Glad it's made you so happy...the twins, babies and dresses will go down in history! Thanks for the peek! Sarah at 14.

I completely agree with you about meeting lovely friends through blogging. And whenever I want an opinion or advice, I just put it on my blog and someone always answers - what a great crafting co-operative!

You are as industrious as your sister... there's always loads going on. That tin reminds me of one we used to have, I think my mum kept barley sugars in it!

Enjoyed reading your post today and nosing around your desk - lots to interest me there. Really like your vintage button box - you've given me an idea for one of my car boot finds, so thanks for that. Congratulations to Jo on winning - I'm sure she will love owning one of your works of art. Got to agree you over the benefits of keeping a blog - you 'meet' the nicest people. Have a great week. Well done on achieving 300 posts, and well done to JoZart too for winning your lovely pressie. I quite agree about the generosity of spirit of all our company of bloggers. No matter what problem you have, someone will always come along and do their best to help. Everyone shares you highs and your lows.

Great desk this week. I love that tin...I used to collect these when I was a child but sadly my Mum got rid of them all years ago, just when they would be useful! Have a great rest of the week.

Always on the go Jo, and I like that the bad weather doesn't dampen your spirits, that's the attitude. Well done to Jo, as you say, a very well deserving recipient. So nice to have good friends isn't it?

A well deserved win for Jo :) And I gawped when I spotted a card that was all too familiar - blush! Now, those magazines - you could just take out the pages you want and file them in those plastic holders with holes down the side - ready to pop into a lever-arch file :)) Hugs from Sunny Spain! I have a tin just like yours - boiled sweets if I remember rightly?

300 hundred posts? I seem to have been blogging for years but haven't made 100 yet! I do take a lot of time off in between times though. I used not to I must get back in to the habit again.
