WOYWW

Good morning all.

My desk is empty but I have been working on a little bit of hand embroidery on this little card topper. I used a small scrap of my masterboard piece from last week and made a little scrap of flower garden.

Speaking of flower gardens ......

Here are a few snaps of the colour in our garden just now. I love the apple blossoms.

Short and sweet for me this week.

Enjoy the beautiful weather.

WOYWW

Another week, another Wednesday. Welcome to my work desk. One day I will show you round my work room but I will need to do a bit of clearing up first.

It's been a busy week.

I had a little birthday card to make for my great nephew. The dinosaur is a favourite cut from a piece of printed fabric. I hope he liked it

And here is the card I made for my little sis and her hubby for their anniversary....

I do enjoy a bit of fabric collage and you will see that I used the fabric  "masterboard" that I made last week.

My latest job for Tilly was to create 28 packs for her new  Lavender fields workshop. Each pack has 24 different colours of fluff so you can imagine the fun I had creating those! 🤣

This is the sample sheet she gave me. The colours are more lavender coloured than this photo copy

And this is the pack...

The colours overlap a bit when they go into the cello bag. Each one also has a square of card and linen and a small piece of prefelt and a small amount of white merino fluff.

And finally, a few photos of my walk round The Dingle in Shrewsbury. A stunning little oasis, originally created by Percy Thrower and his team.

Enjoy your week. Warmer weather is on its way for the weekend so that's good

WOYWW

 Good morning all

So we are back to chilly days again. What a shame. We all enjoyed that couple of weeks of sunshine.

We have seen a couple of swallows so, hopefully the sun will be back soon.

I have had a busy week with all sorts of activity.

My craft table has been covered in fluff once or twice

I made about 30 little fibre and inspiration packs for Tilly. I always add a few lengths of textured wool yarns which can also be felted into pictures

My next job was to make a piece of fabric as a background for some cards.

I cut up toning strips of fabric which I laid onto a plain fabric and trapped under some fine net..

I used my machine to work patterned stitches to hold down the pieces.

The first card was a Golden Wedding card

The next was a birthday card for Tilly. . She won't see it here so I can share it with you

I have made another but I will share it next week.

I've also had a day with Ben which left me exhausted. I'm not sure if it was the penalty shot footie or the tennis on our lawn that wore me out. It was good fun at the time!

I hope you all have a happy Easter time. The year is flying by.

See you next week

WOYWW

Good morning all.
Do you like my little bunch of Scrappies. Sylvia shared some similar ones on her Facebook page and I thought I would have a go. After all, I do have plenty of scraps! I made this one first but she has gone to my friend's granddaughter already .

I hope you are all enjoying this beautiful weather

Our garden is beginning to look more colourful.

We have a beautiful magnolia, several camelias and lots of primrose etc  I don't suppose they will last long but it's lovely to see them. Here are a few of them . .

Lastly, I had a busy day yesterday refilling Maxine's shelf with her Tilly Tea Dance stock at the Bog Center. It looked good and with this lovely weather they will have lots of visitors to peruse her wares 😃

So that's me for this week.

Make the most of the sunshine

WOYWW

Happy WOYWW!

I have a tumble of hearts just waiting to go to the end of life support group at the hospital. I love knitting these. They are easy to do and use up odd yarn leftovers.

Most of my week was spent getting Tilly's stock priced and packed for the new season at The Bog Centre, Stperstones in Shropshire. She has some beautiful pictures and small items so I am sure they will sell well

The other major achievement was to fix my friend's sewing machine. I always clean out the bobbin case etc first...

Quite a pile of fluff was clogging it but it still wouldn't move to the zig zag setting. So I had a quick Google (LLJ!) one of the help sites suggested warming any moving parts with a hair dryer.

Once I had stopped laughing I took the side panel off the machine and did just that. I warmed it gently, put it all back together and Yahoo! It worked. All the fancy stitches worked beautifully so I was a happy bunny and I know my friend will be thrilled.😀

So that's it for this week

Enjoy the sunshine.
