WOYWW

Good morning all!

I hope you are all well and looking forward to the warmer weather supposedly on its way

We had a lovely morning in Shrewsbury yesterday. We call it our staff meeting but really it's just an excuse for a nice lunch and a glass of Prosecco 😀 It's a lovely town for doing just that. I took Ben for half term treats - a mooch round the bookshop for some new books and a few other bits and bobs. Then lunch in our favourite Italian restaurant.

My crafty activity has been limited to a bit of knitting......

I made a few more little creme egg covers. These little chickens knit up quickly and look cute.

I added a few more little dolls to my collection ...

Today I will be tackling a new set of bookmarks for Tilly. I may be gone for some time.🤣

Have a good week all
x x Jo 🌈

Staff meeting, lol! Sounds like a jolly good way to spend a few hours in a beautiful town xx. Those chickens are fab, love the multi coloured yarn and the wattles are definitely worth the extra effort (now there’s a sentence I didn’t think I’d be typing this morning, lol!!) so I’ll add them onto my versions too.
Bookmarks: Good Luck Carruthers…..

Oh Jo, the dolls are fantastic. Each one is so different from the one next to it. I love them all, enough to want to start knitting (but I must not think of it yet as the room is still needing a lot of de cluttering..
Love your idea of staff meetings.
Hugs, Neet 12 xx

Love your knitted toys, McFelty is still my favourite, such a cute character. I wonder if I could manage one with my limited knitting skills? Happy WOYWW. Angela #15

Ha, a staff meeting, love it. We don't do it often but when we do, call it meeting the accountant'. Funny how these things come up! Tilly's toadstools look marvellous (erm....!) and I just know the Greek island workshop will be a delight, you must be chuffed at the results after your invested hours, a table full of fluff rainbows looks wonderful! I absolutely love the knitty dolls Jo, if I were a grandma I'd be commissioning a whole village worth of characters, they're just so lovely. I loved your photo on Facebook too, I could see your hand coming up as if to say no, don't take one of me, knowing that your a reluctant subject, but really it's a lovely one and made me smile.
