WOYWW

It's been another busy week and I just don't know where the time goes  I have been fitting in admin for Tilly Tea Dance in-between hospital visits and Nanny duties.

These are the gorgeous felted bookmarks that a finished off for Tilly. I neaten around them with a lovely, silky satin stitch.

I have also mounted loads of her pictures. This is one of my favourites. It's a needle-felted and embroidered picture of the Shropshire Hills.

We managed a visit to Powis Castle and a quick walk round the beautiful gardens. I love the hollyhocks set against the brick wall. They were almost 8 feet tall.

So that's me for this week.

I hope the weather weather hasn't spoilt your Summer plans

WOYWW

Last week just flew by and here we are on Wednesday, sharing our workspaces with all our WOYWW friends across the globe.

Firstly, I must apologize for not managing to visit any work desks last week. It was a strange week for all sorts of reasons, culminating with the loss of one of our elderly friends. I have a feeling this week may be similar.

I have managed a little bit of crafting. It is the best stress buster isn't it?

My friend asked if I could make some little coin purses for her to give to her grandchildren with some holiday pennies.

So, out came the recycled denim and my box of trimmings

Strangely, even though each purse started out with a similar piece of denim, they all seem slightly different in sizes!!

Here is my latest twiddler.

Under the sea...

Lastly, just look at this gorgeous rose.

It began life climbing up my Godmother's summer house. Then progressed to my Dad's garage wall. My little sis took cuttings before they moved and we had one each. Mine has really flourished this year. Hopefully we can get it to climb up our wall too.

Well that's me for this week.

Have a great week everyone.

WOYWW

 Welcome to WOYWW.

I have actually managed a little bit of crafty sewing this week.

I am helping Annie to use some of that lovely donated fabric. She gave me a piece of quilted fabric and some matching fabrics. I have made a little tissue box cover. They look nice on a desk or dressing table so I thought I would make a few.

Then Max called round with a bundle of yarns that she wanted me to dye, for use in her felted pictures. They were mixed, pale colours and I dyed them in one mix of green. It always surprised me just how different the shades turn out. Some were a bit pale so added more dye and popped them back in. It's always a bit hit and miss but that's what I like about the random results.

Lastly, this is a tiny orchid that Annie gave me. She took it from her own plant and it was just two tiny leaves last year, when she potted it up. Now I have three beautiful little blooms on it.

That's me for this week.

I hope you have enjoyed the cricket and tennis as much as me!

WOYWW

Good morning all. Here we are for another blog hop with all our WOYWW friends.

This week I have been creating workshop packs and mounting and framing pictures for Tilly Tea Dance.

I love the colours and textures she has created with her needle felting. I think these may have been samples she created for her workshops. Which is your favourite?

Then to follow the theme....

I knitted and embroidered a poppy fields twiddle mitt. I just need to add a few more twiddly bits of interest.

I hope you are all well. It's been a bit cooler so I have managed a few jobs like window cleaning this week.

Look at the lovely lavender just outside my window - the bees love it!

So, that's me for this week.
