WOYWW

Good morning all. I hope you are not too badly affected by the snow.
We had a dusting yesterday which quickly disappeared in the sunshine.
I hope we don't get more today!

My table was crammed with Tilly Tea Dance artwork yesterday but, today it is empty and waiting for Tilly to arrive and begin again!
I have been busy mounting pictures and her beautiful little bookmarks.

My own crafting has been limited to these two little cosy cardis that I have just finished to go in my charity donation box. I have had a request for a few items so thought I would have a clear out of my cupboards and put anything that I don't need into the box.

Below are some of the little hand crafted items I have made over the last few years that have obviously been waiting for me to do something useful with them! They can go in the box, I think.

Have a great week and keep cosy!

WOYWW

Good morning WOYWW deskers!

We had a glorious day yesterday - the bulbs are almost in bloom (tiny "tete a tete" daffs that is) and the birds are singing! Hopefully it's the end of the coughs colds and flu and the start of Spring-like weather.
I am afraid my table is bare as my time in the sewing room is limited.

However, I have still managed to play with yarns and needles to create these little beauties.....

Eight little twiddle mitts all neatly trimmed!

They will probably go to the local hospital.

So - short and sweet for this week but at least I have managed it today.

I will try to visit a few desks to see what everyone has been up to.
Have a great week.

WOYWW

Just a quick post today!

I have had that nasty winter bug that everyone seems to have had, so have missed out on my WOYWW posts for a week or two.
Yesterday I felt well enough to finish off the little twiddle mitt I have made for a friend who has had a brain injury. I thought it might help get coordination back so I have added a zip, poppers, buttons and lots of textures.

Also on my table are some of the items that I have mounted and framed for Tilly Tea Dance.
She is busy re-stocking all the local shops that sell her artwork, so I am on hand to help out!

Well that's it for this week.
Hoping you are all feeling well and for those - like my little sis -  who are still struggling with this nasty bug - Get Well Soon!

WOYWW

Well fancy that - I am on time today and actually posting my WOYWW on Wednesday morning!

Things are on a green theme here today.
The machine threads and embroidery floss are all ready for Tilly Tea Dance to get to work this morning. She will be creating a few more little pictures with free machining and hand embroidery sitting here in my sewing room.

Beside the threads is a little Katie Morag kilt that I made this week. Green tartan is difficult to find so I have used a green tartan/check cotton winceyette for the little dressing up skirt.
It went together well and is cosy too.

I made a little kilt-like flap at the front and embroidered a mock kilt pin in silver thread.
The waist is elasticated so it should fit a 4-5 year old.

This is a tiny hoodie which I knitted for my great nephew's cuddly monkey.
It is dressed in football gear so I thought this would go nicely with it.
I even put the monkey's  name on the back! (Bonkers, I know!) But he will love it.

So that's my crafty activity for this week.
Thanks for all your lovely comments. I will look forward to a good snoop round your desks later.

WOYWW

At last, a spare minute to pop my WOYWW post up for you all to see.

I have been busy looking after Ben - well, playing in the garden on a crisp sunny afternoon would be a better description!

My table has the results of my knitting marathon over the last few days.
Two little fancy shrugs for my great nieces' dolls and a Katie Morag aran sweater.

I am knitting a couple of these little sweaters to go on ebay for World Book Day.
If I can find some suitable tartan fabric I will make a couple of Katie Morag kilts to go with them.
Lots of little folk love these little outfits so I hope I find time to do it.

Oh and just peeking out is a tiny Tilly Tea Dance embroidery that has been left behind on my work desk. It's pretty - I wonder what she is going to do with it!!

That's it for this week.

Hope you are all well.

xx Jo
