Good morning all.

This week has flown by again.

We had a lovely meet up with Jan. I'm sure she will be sharing photos. It was so good to see her and of course we chatted and giggled together whilst enjoying the stunning views from her holiday home. It was a nice relaxing day out and ride into the Shropshire countryside.

My sewing room is sparkling with the addition of a nice new ironing board cover. (I'm easily pleased)

I've been busy adding textured yarns to Inspiration packs for Tilly.

I love making these little packs of fluff.

My other job has been to make a Stranger Things birthday cake for Ben. As I always say... Good enough is good enough.,.. and it  really was a yummy rich fruit cake, which we all enjoyed after our tea yesterday.

And finally just a little bit of Autumn colour in our garden. It really is amazing how quickly everything recovered following weeks of drought...

Before I go, I wonder if any of you lovely card makers and paper crafters can help me?

A query for the folk who know about coloured pencils. Max wants to renew her Karisma pencils. Is there a current replacement or something of similar quality?

WOYWW

 Another week, another Wednesday!

Today I have 3 useful pieces of fabric on my table - waiting for inspiration. My friend passed them on to me so that I can make a few items for our local charity. I'm just not sure what to do with them just yet. Maybe some little bags and purses.

This week I have been restocking Tilly's local outlets and clearing her exhibition at Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre. She was really pleased with the sales from it, so it was well worth all the effort.

Tomorrow we are meeting up with Jan so we are really looking forward to that. Aren't we lucky!😀

 Good morning all.

I really enjoyed our 900th post celebration last week but only managed to comment on about half of the posts as Google seemed to be playing up. I will have another attempt as I go round desks this week 

I have been catching up on jobs for Tilly.

A lovely pastel shade of fluff for the Flower Vase workshop...

A group of coastal bookmarks all set for me to edge with machine satin stitch....

And I loved framing her coastal picture with its delicate floral embroidery...

Lastly, Annie gave me a recipe for these cheesy, courgette scones. They were soooo yummy!...

So that's me for this week.

We are hoping to see Jan next week. So fingers crossed all goes well. I will give her a big hug from you all!

Here's hoping Helen's arm is healing well after her op. Feet up and take it easy Helen!

Good morning all.

I had a search through my blog posts and came up with this little badge that I made to celebrate our 600th post.

But way back for our 300th I found this ..

I think it was a terry towelling cover up that I made for Max to use when she took baby Ben swimming. Of course I had to slip it on and model it for you all 🤣🤣

In 2022 I was making twiddle mitts...

WOYWW

 Good morning all.

I hope you are enjoying the cooler weather. We even had rain on Monday night! 

This week I have been helping Tilly by framing her tiny floral and sheepy pics. They all sell well in the local shops. We are surrounded by sheepy Shropshire Hills after all.😀

My work room hasn't seen much crafty activity but I did manage to do a set of Bluebell Woods workshop packs. I only have 6 more sets for September to put together!

We had a day out at Stokesay Castle, Craven Arms on Saturday.

This is a view from the top. Can you spot the key shaped bush in the garden? There was a little quiz for the children to find clues to it. 

It's a lovely little fortified manor house. You can just spot the gatehouse on the left. It's a shame everywhere was so scorched but it did mean we could walk around the moat. Usually it's a bit boggy.
