WOYWW 16th Anniversary

Happy WOYWW 16th Anniversary.

I hope you like my little ATC which I am sharing with you all today.

It's really just a token of my friendship to you all. We have had 16 years of desk sharing but that is just a a tiny part of what we have shared over the years.

We crafty folks have made wonderful friendships and shared happy times and sad ones. We have shared ideas and our stash. There has been a lot of giving over the years and we are grateful to all who have joined in and kept the brilliant spirit of the Wednesday desk share going.

Thanks lots to Sarah for taking over from Julia and keeping us all linked up over the last year. We really do appreciate it.

My week has been busy with work for Tilly.

I've made packs for her Puffin workshop.

These are her pictures that she will take as samples

And here is a snap of my favourite garden plants just coming into bloom....

My two clematis. A Montana and Clematis Josephine.

Have a good week and I hope you enjoy the wonderful weather.

WOYWW

Another week - another Wednesday!
That time has flown by and here we are, all ready to take a sneaky peek at everyone's work desks again.

I've been busy knitting a few more Nurse mates and then I put them on our local FB page. My neighbours have chosen the one they would like and swapped it for a tin (or more) for our local food bank.
A win/win situation. I get to keep busy each evening with a bit of happy knitty fun and they feel good about donating to the food bank. The little children that pass my window, where I display them, love to look at them and count them all!.

I decided to use an idea that seems quite popular at them moment - a little fabric rainbow. I stitched it on to some blue linen and then made a needlecase to keep in the lounge. This replaced a scrap of felt that I had been using to store my big darning needle for stitching up my knitty items!

And lastly just a few flower pics to share with you.

Some lovely tulips that my niece gave me.

And my beautiful clematis tucked beside a fragrant broom bush. Annie gave me the clematis a few years ago - its called Josephine and has gone from strength to strength - I love it!

Well that's it for this week.
I hope you are well and keeping safe.

Have a good week.

Friday smile

I just thought you would like to see this gorgeous Clematis Josephine in all its glory.

It doesn't look so good after the overnight rain on Tuesday but has been stunning.
It has about 40 blooms!

Thanks Annie, I love it.

Friday smile

I just had to post a picture of this beautiful clematis.
Annie bought it for my birthday last year. It is appropriately called Clematis "Josephine".
It only has one bloom at the moment, but it is about 20cm across!
Thanks for the smile Annie!

Have a lovely weekend all.
