WOYWW

Thank you for all your good wishes for my birthday last week

I had a lovely time and even managed a weekend away with friends which was a treat.

My lovely girl made me the most gorgeous felted picture for my wall.....

It seems to be more lovely every time I look at it and I am so thrilled with it.
She is starting up her workshops next week so I have been helping get her roving packs organised.
Look at this beautiful range of purples that I have to dip into.

Then she asked if I could make her an extra bluebell woods sample piece.
She is really busy producing work for an exhibition so I was happy to help out.

It's only a small piece about 4 inches square but was fun to do.

Now you will notice Annie hasn't blogged today - she has Covid and is feeling really under the weather so we are all hoping she soon feels better. There seems to be so much virus about. We are all being really sensible but somehow the little "bug..." gets through!!

I hope you are all keeping clear of it and have enjoyed our lovely Autumn weather.

This was where I went at the weekend...

We walked across the aqueduct at Pontcysylite near Llangollen. We went over in in a canal boat with Ben in the summer but you don't appreciate how high it is until you walk over it on the tow path! Quite a feat of engineering for 1805.

(LLJ - if Annie hasn't linked me to Julia please could you do it for me?)

Have a great week

xx Jo

WOYWW

 Just a quick post today.

I have been busy with admin for Tilly Tea Dance. She is re-stocking at The Bog Centre at The Stiperstones. I have been labelling and pricing up her stock for her. It's so lovely to be able to help her out again and relieve her from some of the mundane jobs so that she has more time to craft.

I really love the tiny flower embroideries that she has made.

My crafty activity has been a bit limited.

I have started my Olympic twiddle mitt but it will take a while to finish, I think.

This is one of my latest Footie related mitts.

So that's it for this week.

I hope you are all well and enjoying watching our amazing Olympians at work.

What talent we have in our country!

Just a quick post today as I shall be busy with my little playmate later on!

New Tilly Tea Dance postcard stock arrived today. Max likes to include them in parcels etc if an extra note is needed and I love the foxglove pictures that she makes. I think this one is perfect to reproduce in prints.

The little pendants below are hers too. They are tiny wet felted landscapes on which  she has hand embroidered tiny flowers. I mounted them in the blanks for her and I think she will put them on a cord or silver chain.

I am slowly getting to grips with the new edition of Blogger. I even found out how to reduce my photo sizes - tiny steps!!!

That's about it for this week.

Have a good week all!

WOYWW

Another week another WOYWW!
My work table hasn't seen much action - apart from a bit of Tilly Tea Dance admin. - getting a few mini sheep landscapes mounted for Etsy and local shops.

I think the bug I had over Christmas is still lurking - either that or I am getting old! I seem to run out of bounce quicker than I usually do.
So, to fill the odd lazy hour or two, I am back knitting a few more twiddle mitts for the hospital. They will use them with their patients suffering from dementia. I try to add buttons, ribbons, knitty bits etc so that there are lots of textures to investigate and things to twiddle.

I knitted the little heart as a Christmas tree decoration and then forgot about it. I think it makes a cheery addition to the latest little mitt.

Well that's it for this week.
See you next week!!

Good morning all - a table full of pretties to look at today!!

A dainty vintage table cloth and 4 pretty table napkins - my latest car boot bargains!
A handmade brooch and buttons - gifts from our friend T - back from her hols.
A pot of Anne Sloan plum coloured chalk paint - not sure what I am doing with it but fancied trying it.
AND my latest 2 little frocks.

Below are the rest that I have made since last week....
If you would like to see the 50 little dresses we posted to Louise last week then follow the link to her  blog and catch up on all the "Dress a girl around the world" news. She is now an international co-ordinator and has collected over 270 dresses so far!!

A big big BIG thank you to all those kind bloggers who have been sending fabric parcels to Wipso - you will recognise lots of the beautiful material in the little frocks we make over the next few weeks. THANK YOU!
And lastly .....

My daughter M has opened her Etsy shop!

She has lots more lovely hand crafted items to add to her shelves, but it takes a while, so keep a look out over the next few weeks!!

Have a great day everyone - I will pop over to Julia's Stamping Ground and see if Wipso has got to Mr Linky first this week.
See you later.
