WOYWW- Royal wedding week

"Good morning all you lovely WOYWWers - Scruffy and Cathy here!

Not much happening in Twiglet's work room this week - she has been too busy gardening for M. So Cathy and I have been left to wish you a happy Royal wedding week.
Twiglet has left a very patriotic table with red, white and blue ribbons and stuff.
Note the WOYWW regal pin cushion that Twiglet made for the last WOYWW anniversary.
Also note the beautiful order of service. No, she has not been invited to the Royal wedding!!
This one was all beautifully presented by Tina for her wedding service to Gavin a week ago.
It was wrapped in tissue paper with the little pink felted heart attached ready for us to unwrap before the service began.
The little heart on the front is a photo of one of Tina's own original artworks. Perfect for the happy occasion!

Oh and Twiglet said to show you the picture that you had a sneaky peek of last time. She made it as a wedding present for Tina & Gavin. It is their shop Indigo Moon at Montgomery.
They are about to revamp the shop so that it will be even better than it is at the mo. It is full of gorgeous gifts and vintage pieces so, if you fancy a trip out, pop over to see it.

I think that's all Twiglet wanted me to say - oh - except have a great week and enjoy the Royal wedding day!"
(Right Cathy - show me how to get to Julia's blog and sign up to Mr Linky so that we can go and snoop everyones's desk before Twiglet gets back!!)

WOYWW

Good morning all!
Tuesday was damp, foggy and gloomy so let's hope the sun shines today!!

My window sill has 2 little sock bunnies in woolly bags and a stripey bird in its travel bag.
All my other sock dolls are tucked into their travel bags too. They look smart with their names embroidered on the front of each bag.

The bunnies are waiting patiently to go over to Tina's shop - Indigo Moon in Montgomery. She has a lovely Easter display and my little sock buddies can't wait to join in the festivities!
If you are looking for Mother's Day gifts or just want to browse a delightful Aladdin's cave of little treasures then treat yourself to a ride over to Montgomery and take a peek. Tina has just had an article published in Cloth, Paper, Scissors magazine and has a fab display of her mixed media pictures in the shop.

Not a lot going on over here. I had a weekend away and funday Monday with Wipso, so Tuesday was catch up day!
You can see the little felted sweater hearts on my table beside my car boot copy of Alice in Wonderland. I thought it might be fun to cut up some of the pages and use it in my collages. If any one wants some typically "Alice" text, then leave a comment and I will cut up a few pages and send you some.

Now folks, we are looking for nominations for our fourth and final weekly 'Joannie'. The award will be......

One of our sets of desk accessories.

This includes a cover for those 'all important' baby wipes, that you crafters use to clean your rubber stamps etc, plus a needle case, for your needles or long crafting pins and a matching pin cushion.

So pop over to Sisters Crafty Creations and leave a comment if you want to be in it to win it!

Short post today so I can quickly link to Julia's blog and pop over to a few desks and see what you are all up to!
Have a great day!!

Our stall at the craft fair!

Well - it was a cold, snow covered morning when Wipso and I set out for Montgomery.
The treasure that is Mr Wipso drove us over there and helped us unpack all our bags and boxes.
With Tina's help we set out a fantastic stall, loaded with goodies.
I guess the poor weather kept a good few customers at home, nevertheless, we had a brilliant day.
We sold quite a lot, met old friends and made a few new ones.
Later in the day, the sun shone and the view from the upper floor of the Town Hall, towards Welshpool, was wonderful on this cold winter's day.
Montgomery town must have been quite full because Tina's shop Indigo Moon had a busy afternoon too.
The craft fair was held in aid of the NSPCC so I hope they did well. We bought raffle tickets and had a go at guessing the name of the knitted mouse but of course we didn't win.
By 3.30 folks were starting to pack away so we did likewise and then waited for our knight in shining armour to re-pack the car and take us home.
A great day - thanks to Tina for suggesting we help fill her tables - apologies if we overwhelmed her with our all our goodies!!
Our Christmas goodies will be going into the blog shop on Monday, so, if you are in need of a few stocking fillers or tree decorations or Christmas rag wreaths, then pop over to Sisters Crafty Creations and check us out.

Crafty inspiration!

It was a damp and gloomy morning so daughter M. came for a ride over to Montgomery for a little crafty inspiration at the lovely Tina's craft and vintage shop - Indigo Moon.

M. had never been before and was really surprised to see what a wonderful job Tina has done in setting out her shop. It is a real Alladin's cave - full of wonderful, gifts, craft, artwork and vintage bits and bobs. However, it's bright, fresh and spacious and is just a delight to browse in. I am sure I shall be popping back, alone, to Christmas shop!

Tina had, in the past, suggested that I take one or two of my needle-felted pictures to sell in the shop. So, today I took my peacock and bullfinch pictures and was really thrilled that Tina was happy to put them on display.
M. has always been a talented artist and has made gorgeous cards and pictures in the past. She has had little time or inclination to craft recently, however, as we left Indigo Moon, she was bubbling over with ideas and suggestions for things "we" could make. So, I guess she will be reclaiming all the stash of craft materials I have been so kindly "storing" for her!!

If you would like a sneaky peek inside Indigo Moon, then follow this link to Tina's blog.
