WOYWW

This week has flown by - yet again

We are having a couple of days in Llandudno and paying a visit to Bodnant Gardens too, so I may not get round to visiting desks until later.

Here are my part done card toppers all ready to sew and embellish. I've used up all my background piece so now need to think of a new idea.

Below are just a few snaps from my front garden....lots of purple - lavender, hebe and my beautiful "Happy Birthday" clematis that little sis bought for me a few years ago. We thought it had died but this year it burst into bloom and twined its way through the Mahonia and up the fence .

Short and sweet for me today.

WOYWW

Good morning all. Here we are for another blog hop with all our WOYWW friends.

This week I have been creating workshop packs and mounting and framing pictures for Tilly Tea Dance.

I love the colours and textures she has created with her needle felting. I think these may have been samples she created for her workshops. Which is your favourite?

Then to follow the theme....

I knitted and embroidered a poppy fields twiddle mitt. I just need to add a few more twiddly bits of interest.

I hope you are all well. It's been a bit cooler so I have managed a few jobs like window cleaning this week.

Look at the lovely lavender just outside my window - the bees love it!

So, that's me for this week.

WOYWW

I have been busy with my little lavender bags this week again.
One or two of our WOYWW buddies said they would like some so I made a few extra.
(I still have about half of my bag of lavender left!!)

I found some chunky lace which looked good on the cotton fabric that I found in my stash. So, I made a few larger bags and a few small ones to go with them.

I have bagged them up in twos and will be posting out this week.

If anyone else would like a couple let me know.
Needless to say my sewing room smells lovely and I have been sleeping really well recently! 😴

I hope you haven't been blown away by the gales across the land.

It's not been too bad here so far.

Have a good week.

Our postman is delivering lovely parcels!

This gorgeous little Hush pillow - filled with lavender - was sent to me by Pipany. She has a lovely website for all her beautiful cushions, bags, tea cosies and lots more pretty gifts. Her blog is a delightful chronicle of life in Cornwall, full of amazing photos of the sea, the seasons and her busy life. To find out for yourself go to http://www.pipany.co.uk/
As you can see, I hung my little pillow on my side of the bed and the lavender fragrance has certainly helped me to sleep better! I think lavender is making a real come-back. My friend Calico Kate has been making little lavender sachets from vintage doilies. What a clever bunch you all are!!!
