Good morning all!

I hope you have survived the gales and are not too badly affected by floods etc.

We are all fine here although Shrewsbury has lots of floods beside the River Severn which flows around the town centre.

This week I have another little twiddler - a Footie themed one this week.

And then, my latest little knittie for my God daughter....

It's knitted in James Brett Marble DK. 

Of course, I always have to try and match sleeves and fronts with this, not quite random, wool. 

I just don't feel happy knitting it straight from the ball and letting it be completely random. I think it looks Ok and it's really cosy and can be "cool tumble-dried" which is not always the case with yarns these days.

So that's my crafty activity to share with you this week.

I have worked on the Mr Saucepan outfit with Ben today - he helped make little pans to stitch onto the waistcoat. I will take a photo of him wearing it when it's finished.

And finally...

This is what I took out of my potato bag today.

I haven't done anything to it.

It just made me smile.

Just a bit late with my WOYWW post today.
I have sewing buddies coming for lunch and a bit of free motion machine embroidery.
My work table is all neat and tidy and ready to go and lunch is all sorted

It's a lovely sunny day and the building site is busy - lots of men in shorts - what more can these girls ask for!

So it's a short sweet post from me today.
Just thought I would post a picture of my latest little knittie now that its finished.

Did you see the meteor shower last night? - I saw a few "shooting stars" - but the sky is very light here in town - nothing like the big black skies at my old house where we didn't have any street lights.

Another crafty week in the Twiglet household!
My table is just piled high with the remanants of my crafty activities - it's a mess and you don't want to look at it!
So here are the results - much more interesting. . . .

Here is my first attempt at a quiet cube.
It's just a little soft fabric cube with a few add ons that Ben might like to investigate (and chew on).


Then there is the play mat all ready for him when he comes to play at my house....

AND lastly the little knittie that I was making last week.

So, a busy week considering that I have had a nasty head cold. All better now.
We just need a bit of Spring sunshine and a good walk in the fresh air!
