WOYWW

Well here we are again, sharing our crafty desks into 2025. Thanks to Sarah for linking us all up on her Sarah's Craft Shed blog. Do join in if you want to meet a few crafty folks who like to share their crafty activity.

This is my work table loaded with Tilly's latest bookmarks. I love the Starry night ones- the new range 😃 I think I have about 40 to edge in toning colours so that will keep me quiet for a day or two.

Below are the latest fluff rainbows 🌈 They are all ready to put into bags for her Shropshire Hills workshop.
And lastly....
I knitted two little jumpers for my God daughter and her sister.
I love the little lacey panels but it certainly took a bit of concentration!

So that's me for this week.

I hope you are managing to keep cosy and the weather hasn't been too problematic for you.

WOYWW

Good morning to all my WOYWW friends and anyone else who likes to pop in and see what I am up to.

This week I have managed a bit of sewing in my room.

I made a new ironing board cover for Max and also a little threads bin for her workshop.

Then I got my homework up to date by edging another ten bookmarks.

I like the cool greens best but think the warm olive greens look good too

I've also been mounting and framing some of her best selling, tiny felted and embroidered artworks.

It's been great to spend time crafting.

I expect I shall be busy with Nanny duties next week as it is the half term holiday for our schools.

I hope you are all well and have managed to keep clear of high winds and floods.

Have a good week.

WOYWW

Well, we tested negative at last, on Saturday. I still have a slight cough but I'm looking forward to getting back to normal now

I've been busy, in my spare moments, edging bookmarks for Till Tea Dance. She made thirty in total. Here are the first ones that I finished for her.

Then she brought five more....

I go round each one with a zig zag to hold the edge together and then I put my machine to a neat satin stitch for the final round. I use Madeira rayon thread which is shiny and in gorgeous colours. It takes about 12 minutes per bookmark, so not a quick fix, but I enjoy doing it

We celebrated hubby's birthday this week with a family meal here. I'd forgotten how long it takes to get organized. It was lovely and every plate was cleared so obviously appreciated.

I even made him a cake with candles on it!

So that's me for this week.

Sending a big hug to all our WOYWW friends who need it.
