I think my table is all set for some finishing off jobs for Tilly Tea Dance.
She left a pile of beautiful little dumfed pictures for mounting and some teeny tiny embroidered inchies all ready to be attached to silver pendant blanks.
So, it looks like I will be busy later this morning - firstly I have to nip over to baby sit Ben while Maxine has her hair cut.
Then, wahoo - a birthday party this afternoon! With a bit of luck and fine weather it might be tea in my school friend's garden with friends and family - perfect!
If you feel like joining in with our workdesk show and tell, then pop over to Julia's Stamping Ground and share your desk with a few like minded crafters.
Have a great week.
Thanks for calling by.

WOYWW- a bit late!
Just a bit late this week but better than last week when I never managed to show you my WOYWW!
Life has just beeen a bit busy with a few crafting tasks and a few days helping Maxine with her crafty workshop.
Today my desk is loaded with up cycled frames ready to put little needle-felted pictures into.
Then you might spot a box of bits and bobs with a few little "dumfed" samples on the top.
You can also see little Katie Morag on my window sill. I found a half finished one in a drawer so decided that I would complete her before she got lost once I start packing boxes.
Just beside her is a shirt for a teddy - I have to make a couple of teddies outfits this week so will be using that as a pattern.
And lastly, here I am modelling the latest little hooded poncho I have made as a snuggly wrap for Ben.
The towelling ones worked perfectly and M thought a fleecy one would be useful too so I used half of a fleece blanket and added just a dinosaur or two!!
I think I will link this post to Annie's Friday smile as I am sure you will all be grinning and thinking what a twit I look!!!
Have a great week.
Sorry for not being round much recently but thanks for dropping by.

WOYWW - just a bit late!
Happy Wednesday everyone.
I hope you all had a lovely Christmas.
Ours weekend was spent with daughter M and was really great.
Thanks to all of you who sent beautiful Christmas cards - you are such a clever bunch!!
Not much going on in my craft room this week. I seemed to have been so busy up to Christmas that I am finding it quite a treat doing other things for a change.
The picture above shows all the gorgeous lace, braid and fabric sent to us by Rebecca for our "Dress a girl around the world" frocks. A huge parcel came along with Christmas stuff. I unpacked it and showed it to Annie and packed it away ready for the New Year when we will start again with our little frocks. So a big "Thank you" to Rebecca - it will all be put to good use.
Below are a few "dumfed" cards that I made as gifts for my Yorkshire friends. When I lived up there, they all loved to dip into our card box for special occasion cards so, I like to make sure they still have a few now and again.
I think I like this set best. I used an idea in my latest Stitch magazine and made them in a range of colours.
Well folks - short and sweet today - and late!
So a quick dash to Julia's Stamping Ground to link up with you all and I will be round to see what everyone else has been up to.
Enjoy your New Year celebrations.
Best wishes
Jo

Happy Easter!
Just a cheery little "dumfed" daffodil picture to brighten this cold, wet and windy Good Friday.
The view from my window is more like winter than spring with grey clouds clinging to the hills and a bitter wind blowing sleety rain onto my freshly cleaned windows. (My window cleaner braved the elements and made a lovely job of them on Wednesday!)
Our weather will certainly spoil the weekend for all those folk who were hoping to have a few days away. No doubt all the hotels and guest houses on the coast will miss out on much needed trade this Easter.
We were hoping to garden for M. on her new little plot. We have loads of little cuttings, ready rooted, to transfer to her sloping back garden. They might have to wait until its warmer before we move them!
I promised to take some brownies for her, so that will keep me busy later. I may even pop a few mini-eggs on each one. I know it will add to the calories but a good run will sort that - (er I mean M. not me - don't be silly!!!)
Happy Easter everyone - hope you enjoy the weekend - whatever you decide to do.
