Friday smile and finished by Friday

Firstly my "Finished by Friday" items...
Two draught excluders in my latest colour combos.
Annie's neighbour wanted one is this colour combo so I made two as I thought they looked really smart.

Then, of course little P. really loved her sister's little bag so I made one for her ready to post today.
I think she will love this one.

 AND....
Following my pheasnt saga from last week....
She has now taken to sitting on top of my hedge and peering at me!!!

I don't think pheasants nest in bushes so I am quite interested to know just what she thinks she is doing - maybe she is just having a good old nosey round!

Have a great weekend and if you want to join in with the Friday Smile -
then pop over to Annie's A Stitch in time blog - guaranteed to make you smile.

Finished by Friday 5

Welcome to Finished by Friday 5!

I know lots of folk pop by to see what I have been up to each week.
Thanks for calling and feel free to leave a little comment just to say Hi!!

Just a few bits and bobs to share this week.....

Two gorgeous ivory/grey/black patchwork draught excluders.

They are made with various furnishing fabrics.

Each one is embellished with hand embroidery and leather flowers trimmed with vintage buttons.

I am taking these to the craft fair - I think there is a lovely one in our Sisters Crafty Creations blog shop if anyone is interested. Email me if you fancy a different colour scheme!!

A sneeky peek at a little angel's wings as she posed for a photo in the sunshine yesterday. She will be winging her way to Jo for her angel swap next week.

I had pics of some of my little Christmas cards and a gorgeous little scrapbox fairy to show you but Blogger keeps telling me my quota has been used up. Does anyone else have this problem?

Will try later - meanwhile have a fab weekend and don't forget to give generously to Children in Need!!

WOYWW

Happy Wednesday to all.
This was my desk with sunshine (yes! sunshine!) beaming through my wiindow, yesterday afternoon.
I just couldn't resist a photo - we have had so many gloomy days it was lovely to see the sun - if fleetingly.

On my desk are a few of my carboot bargains.

  • A lovely lady gave me this fabric when I explained that I would be making frocks for the "Dress a girl around the world scheme" with it. So many kind folk out there!
  • Also you can see the pretty little "broiderie anglais" mats  and lovely vintage Irish linen hankies that M bought to craft with. Not sure what she will make with them but we just couldn't resist them.
  • I also got 3 circular knitting needles - always useful for little shrug knitting.
Just a few of my week's makes below.....

Two tiny waistcoats for my friend's grandsons to wear to their uncle's wedding.

A random patchwork draught excluder.

Lastly the latest little knitties for the "Fish and Chip" babies.
I posted a parcel with 16 little jumpers and matching beanie hats to Dawn yesterday - 13 sets from me and 3 from Annie. I still have plenty of wool scraps so will continue knitting for a bit longer.

Join in our WOYWWednesday blog hop by following the link to Julia's Stamping Ground - so many busy crafty folk to snoop on!!!

Thanks to all who visited me last week  - I really appreciate your thoughtful, kind comments.
