WOYWW

Good morning to all the WOYWW desk hoppers and anyone else who pops in to see what I am up to.

This week I am making workshop packs for Tilly's "Shropshire Hills" workshop. It's quite therapeutic laying out the layers of merino wool and it's very satisfying to see what they manage to achieve with each pack.

I have also just finished another little cape- pullover as a gift for my friends granddaughter. They look lovely on and I am sure they make a cosy extra layer on these cool Spring days

Lastly, two of my friends are celebrating golden weddings soon so I have made little collaged cards for them. It's a good way to use up some of my fabric stash - well at least some of my stock of tiny fabric scraps. The flowers on top are just scraps trimmed from old, faded, embroidered linen that was just too nice to throw away.

That's it for this week.

I hope you are all well -  have a good week.

WOYWW

I hope you all had a lovely Easter weekend.

We had good weather for a couple of days so could get out and about into Shrewsbury and our garden.

We watched Max and Ben run the 10k in the park on Saturday, helping to raise funds for the local hospice. They ran together and managed it in under 54 minutes. Awesome!

We also managed a couple of lunches out - always a nice treat. We did think prices have risen quite a lot but that's the norm these days isn't it.

My latest twiddlers are all ready for the hospital.

I am now knitting two more cape pullovers as the first ones looked totally gorgeous on the the two little girls who received them.

This colourway is even brighter.

So that's my show and tell for this week

Have a good week everyone.

xx Jo

WOYWW

 Where does the time go?

I have had two busy days this week and by the time I realized that I had forgotten to get my WOYWW post ready, it was too late to start.

So, I am a bit late posting this.......

I found a pattern for a "cape-pullover".

It seemed like a good idea for a cosy extra layer for little ones so I bought some bright James Brett Party Time yarn  and knitted this little item. I think it looks good over a plain long sleeved T shirt (this is one of Ben's) and maybe jeans or leggings. I hope my goddaughter likes it. I have also made a smaller one for her little sister too.

And just to share Springtime Shrewsbury with you all...

This is the garden designed by Percy Thrower - The Dingle. It is in the Quarry Park, in the town centre, bounded by River Severn

It really looked stunning in the sunshine on Mother's Day.

Have a good week all.
