WOYWW

 Good morning all.

I hope you are all well and managing to get organized for the festive season. I finished my little phone stands and have been using mine on my sewing table. At last I'm not searching for it!

I've made a few for the cancer charity too but will wait for their next craft fair to hand them over.

These are my latest little knitties. A yellow jelly baby and a nurse mate....

It's been a strange week.

I left a tube of glue on my machine and it left a little melted circle on it.

I had a freak accident in church when I went to see Ben's concert. I tripped  on a kneeler cushion and bashed my thigh on the pew. Ouch!

Nursing sis dropped by with some Arnica which has helped to bring the bruise out. 😀

And finally my car battery gave up on me this morning. Luckily my garage did a quick check and replaced it within an hour. That's service for you!

So, here's hoping that's the end of my bad news.

Minor issues but nevertheless flippin annoying.🤣

Have a good week all. See you here on Christmas Eve.

x x Jo 🌈

Blimey that’s a cracking bruise you’ve got there, hopefully it’ll fade as quickly as it came, thank goodness you didn’t break anything. Batteries always die at this time of year, what a pain but least you got it fixed quickly. Love the bright fabrics of the stands but what really caught my eye were the curls on the nurse doll’s head, I had to zoom in marvel at what you’ve done, so clever!!

They say things come in threes so I'm sure you are done now for the bad news - the bruise looks quite nasty. I did the same thing in church at the carol concert the other day but didn't' get a bruise - however I did think the rest of the row was going to go down like dominoes but luckily there was a wall at the end that stopped them! I love the little dolls, especially the nurse doll -what cute hair she has - you really are very clever.
Hope you have a lovely Christmas,

Well I hope those three are the extent of it, that bruise is awful, bet it’s hurt to walk and sit and adjust for a good few days, poor you. I’m fascinated and a bit staggered that a tube of glue can do that sort of damage, blimey! I welcome the return of the knitties, they do make me smile. Thank you for your beautiful card and words, we’re getting there.

I always keep Arnica handy, it's brilliant at easing the bruises. I understand the kneeler as I actually have some in the house. Years ago I bought some at an antique collectors market and re covered them. They are great to get your feet up but I have to be careful where I put them when they are not in use as I have tripped over them before now. Loving your new knitted people they are so sweet. I smiled when you mentioned about your car as I've had something similar, my 53 year old car decided that one head light and the fan (both 53 years old) decided to stop working. How dare it! Guess they don't last for ever Lol! Wishing you a very happy woyww, Angela x10x

Oh that looks painful! That was a great turn around at the garage. My husband has bought me something similar to your phone stands for my IPad. Happy WOYWW. Angela #12

Thanks for your comment this week. I overestimated the state of my recovery and have been struggling with my wound the past few days. Determined to visit everyone this week but just a generic comment to save on the typing, been awake since 4am too - oh Man Hugs BJ#1

Ouch! That is a nasty bruise. I hope you are not too sore and tender and that you heal quickly. Atleast you got prompt and good service from your garage so that your car could be back on the road. That would have been a real pain over Christmas.
Wishing you a happy and trouble free Christmas and the joyful hope of a new year x
