This week has flown by and it wasn't until I woke up this morning that remembered my WOYWW post.
So here goes....
This week I dabbled with my scrap box and made a few Christmas card collages. I like Christmas roses - Hellebore. It's a nice simple shape to cut out freehand and free machine in place. I used some of my automatic stitches for the rest with a few tiny beads for embellishments.
Evening knitting with wool scraps.........And finally on my desk waiting to go in the dye pot....
A few fancy yarns to dye green for Tilly.
So that's my desk for this week.
Have a good week all

Happy WOYWW!
Aiming for visits on the day for a change :D Gorgeous card. Do you make all your cards like this by hand? I'd totally scan and print LOL! Curious about the yarn - Is there a plan ? green? Cute bear - I love they require so little to create.

Oooh, that hellebore card is beautiful π I absolutely love it and am very fond of the flowers too! You’re so talented xx. The little ted is cute, I had a go but am not as good as the definition sewing as you are, need more practise! Hope you’re not covered in green after the dyeing ππ
Hugs LLJ 1 xx
Love the hellebore and it will make a beautiful card. Catriona
I adore your Crimbo collage. I wondered if Tilly had big yarn-dyeing pots but now I see it’s you!
Happy WOYWW

Love your Hellebore card. They are one of my favourite flowers and I am waiting for our one in the garden to flower. The one we have is white with some pink around the petals, just beautiful. I love to see this beautiful flower when it pops his head through the snow. Wishing you a very happy and creative woyww, Angela x10x
Oh my life the card collage is to die for so delicate and adorable love it. Hugs Bj#9
Hello Jo, The Hellebore collage is absolutely gorgeous! As BJ says, 'to die for'. You're so talented. I noticed somewhere you said you don't think to take a photo of your desk but I'd love to see what it looks like after you've been working on something like the collages. I'm curious. Those yarns are various colours so when died do they come out different shades of green or are they pretty uniform. Though I imagine it doesn't matter - grass, fields and leaves, like Ireland, come in many shades of green. The teddy is so sweet. Happy WOYWW and have a great week. Hugs, Ellie xx #13
Oh my goodness Jo ππ₯°π€©πΏ how beautiful your card is ... I'm sat here in awe that you made them from scraps ❤️ just wow ... to that gorgeous wee knitted soul wearing a scarf ... done in an evening ... again I have no words ... how talented you are ... it's such a joy to pop over and see what you've been up to π I look forward to seeing the results with the dye π π but for now ... I'll wish ⭐️ you all good things for the days ahead π with much love and hugs π« Tracy #11 xxxx
Lordy, another blog with beautiful Christmas card ideas. (As if I’m ever going to do any machining, let alone free work!) I’ve been evening working with yarn myself actually, I should show you shouldn’t I, make a change from the detritus on my desk! Hope the yarns die well, different shades I presume, will come from that selection, I like the springy one!
I love your little scrap teddy. So cute. I'm scrap knitting too. I have far too much yarn still, even after finishing my blanket.
Your Hellebore stitching is stunning.
