WOYWW- the only one!

 Good morning all.

Well here we are, hoping we are continuing under the original creator of WOYWW, Julia at Stamping ground.

Sarah did a great job when she stepped in to keep us going, three years ago and we will never forget her.

But now, we are back to linking up with Julia who started us off over 17 years ago.

So here is my table....

I delved into my fabric stash - mostly given pieces.

I wanted to make a few items for our charity that we support. So here is my first item...

I had a scrap of Hungry Caterpillar fabric - just enough for a book sized bag for a little one

I haven't managed any more sewing as we've been away in Chester.

I did knit a little Christmas ted...

Chester in the sunshine..

Some wonderful metal sculptures in the cathedral, made from old copper water tanks.

And stunning stained glass.

We were so lucky to have two fabulous days of warmish sunny weather.

We returned home yesterday in pouring rain and it still continues!

Have a good week all.

x x Jo 🌈

You didn't say that you got out all the fabric, looked at it then put it almost all back lol. Glad you enjoyed Chester...it's a place we love too.

Love that bag, Jo! What small child wouldn't treasure it? The bear is super cute too. You were lucky with the weather at Chester. It's been years, decades in fact, since I last visited the town and walked the wall. Have a fabulous week. Hugs, Ellie x #10

Wow, the things you can do with an odd panel of fabric! That book bag is wonderful! Love the little knitty too, a perfect cuddle for someone! Glad you enjoyed a break in Chester, isn’t it gorgeous. We went with friends for a late November getaway, golly it was cold and so beautifully festive, on top of all the lovely city has to offer. Happy days!

I love that Hungry Caterpillar bag you made, as Eric Carle is one of my favorite children’s books writer and illustrator. That stained glass window is breathtaking. Happy WOYWW!
